Hey everyone!

So I wasn't sure which section to put this in. I'm getting very confused about a couple of different things. I'm finding a bit of contradicting posts everywhere I go about different terms. Is there a stickie that I am overlooking that discusses the different planes? I'm hearing a lot of people talk about the RTZ, which as I understand it is the Real Time Zone...? Other than that, what are the other planes and how does one access them? I'm very lost  :? Where are we right when we exit our bodies?

If I'm not being clear please let me know, I'm not wonderful when it comes to getting my point across when writing.

If you try to find a truth through other people's descriptions and experiences, then you will only ever be confused.

For now, put all this stuff aside... or better yet, just forget about it all.
Then, just work on having your own experiences.

Just experience.  Don't worry about what or where you are... just experience.

Alright! I'll try that. In spite of "forgetting" everything, I have stumbled upon a method that I have not tried yet. I'm going to see if it works to my advantage. Time will tell!

Remember, this stuff is much less complicated and much easier than most people will tell you it is.
Don't over-complicate it for yourself.  Don't confuse yourself.  Stick to your own experiences.

In another forum they talk about real time zone.   It did not make any sense to me so I ignored it.   It worked well.   I do not have any problems.    I find things out for myself.

When I first began to consciously AP, I needed to see the RTZ to prove to myself that this was for real and for that need. But once that need was fulfilled, I was free to look beyond and since then very rarely will I find myself in the RTZ anymore, except of course during my daily NP brief practices. In those I use the RTZ as a focus target.

It all has to do with intent. But I find curiosity plays a big role in this as well. Once you have experienced one thing, you want to expand and experience anew.

Just like my "Sig" says here "Every new experience you have, prepares you for your next new experience!  :-)"

What's beyond the RTZ? How is it different? What are things like on the other planes? Are they, as we would call, "real" places, just on different dimensions? Thanks!

It's basically all in the perspective and mindset of the person the time.

Example: You have a False Awakening whereas you awaken in your room, almost everything is exactly the way it is here, except for whatever it is that makes you realize that you are still sleeping. Like for instance, you get up and are walking to the bathroom, you pass by your dresser and on the dresser you see what looks like a horse and buggy. You think nothing of it until behind you, you here a whip lash. You turn real quickly and see that the horse and buggy is now moving down your dresser, lol. Now you know you are sleeping. But everything else was almost an exact replica of this RTZ.

Now to someone new to this practice, this was either a really weird LD or as I have labeled it above False Awakening. Your room had the same attributes. You felt that you were really walking in your room. Which you were, just not from this dimensional perspective though. You were actually in a NP version of your room. The "trigger" was what ever bizarre circumstance made you realize that this wasn't "really" happening.

When you use the climbing out of the body techniques you will normally find yourself right beside your physical body or in your room, house etc. When you create a visualization or intent such as going to a tranquil beach scenario (one I personally enjoy), you KNOW you are completely in another area. This area is of your own manifestation, but you can still experience it as though it was "real". Because at the time, it was real to you. You can talk to others, play games, etc.. Although the talking to others usually comes via telepathic messages, but sometimes you can still hear them, like you hear things here.

You can ask questions, work out problems, etc. there. What I like to do is just ALOW the scenario to morph into what it wishes. I still have control over my actions. But now I am going to see and experience what I "need" to see. Sometimes when I become aware while in SP, I will simply say to myself, "Take me where I need to go. Show me what I need to see", then I'm off.

When I create my "open" intent, then I will find myself in some very unique areas that I can only discern as being another Dimension or Plane.

This quote above from Xanth reigns true here "If you try to find a truth through other people's descriptions and experiences, then you will only ever be confused.|

Sorry if I confused you further!

Alright! So one more scenario. What if you are viewing an event from the past as a bystander, is that event played out as your subconscious is imagining it? It sounds like a lot of what occurs in the Astral is directly from one's head. It's a bit confusing, and hard to comprehend.

I guess you will have to experience and find those answers for yourself. What is "real, what isn't real? Those answers will only truly be answered once you experience it for yourself.

I still question everything there myself. Once I learn one thing, something else happens and contradicts or confuses that teaching.  :-P

But that sets up the next intended destination or event.  :-)

Thanks so much for your time! I'll continue trying to AP.
