So, last night I had a dream and for some reason I realized that I was in control. Not so much that I was dreaming, but that I was in control. So anywho, I was sitting down and I saw my work truck and I knew I had left some stuff in the back and I thought to myself, "Did I really leave that stuff in the back?" So, I closed my eyes and PROJECTED over there, checked and I definitely saw the stuff I had left and I came back into my body, fully aware that I had seen what was in there. Of course, I was mad because I screwed up and left crap in my truck that needed to be gone. Away from particular details though, in my dream I had full ability to leave my body at will, instantaneously. It was crazy, I have never had a dream so vivid or had one where I was THAT in control. Does anyone have any idea what that was or what it means?

In my experiences, control is usually an illusion while dreaming. We would all like to think that we're in control but that's just not how it works. I usually have about 5 lucid dreams each night and many of them are as clear as real life. But how do you KNOW that you're in control when your in these dreams?
Because I make a decision and stick to it.

It sounds like you had something in the back of your mind ("did I leave stuff in my truck?") and the nagging came out in your dream. Did you really leave stuff in your truck (in real life)?
Or
A vehicle in dreams can sometimes represent your physical body. Maybe your dream was a projection but your physical body was tugging at you, creating a dream of leaving something behind and the need to go back and check.
Either way, it seems AP related because you were AP'ing in your dream.
