Hi Ginny,

Thank-you so much for this post. I'm sure most of us here will be putting this to use someday soon.

HOLLER! Maybe this subject deserves it's own seperate post.

Thanks!

Hi Ginny,
I have really appreciated your posts in all their detail. I would love to hear about how you make the transition from waking consciousness to opening your perception to the astral. Would you describe it as phasing like we have been talking about here?

I'm curious too about how you got started and any reflections on your early experiences.

I have been facinated by the subject for the last 17 years and very actively learning/practicing all that I can for the last year or so. I have had several experiences that are very reaffirming that this is my chosen path to follow in this lifetime. As such, I am eager to talk with people who are also on the same path and have been there before me.

Thanks so much,
Veo

Hi Veo,

As Bob Monroe described Phasing, yes, what I've learned and what I do to journey into the nonphysical is basically the same: shifting or phasing one's focus of attention away from the physical--the world outside and around us, to the nonphysical, the world within. In the past I was able to have one OOBE at will (this was years ago when I thought going OOB was the only way to visit the nonphysical) and several spontaneous ones, but was never able to exercise much control or stay in that state long. Also, it seemed to me that my subconscious usually did the driving during OOBEs..and this always led to fear and confusion. At that time I was very interested in what Monroe in his  third book was referring to, Phasing and going within...but had no clue what it meant really til I discovered Bruce Moen's website 2 years ago, where he teaches exactly this form of travel. He was/is a close friend of Bob Monroe's, had attended TMI three times in his quest to want answers too about the afterlife...and I guess what knocked my socks off about what he was teaching was the fact that he discovered, through trial and error, that we each  have the ability to  explore the afterlife and get our own answers, from our own direct experience. Extensive, lengthy, exotic  or 'spiritually advanced'  training or the use of any equiptment to learn to explore is  simply not necessary: if any kind of tool works for someone, great!--but we're already hard-wired, so to speak, to explore. The most difficult thing to believe, in learning to explore the afterlife, is that it truly is very very simple to do.

Veo, I wanted answers about life, life after death, starting over 30 years ago. Seth Speaks, The Seth Material...had great impact on me. So much of the beliefs of various religions and even metaphysical practitioners just didn't resonate with me, but those books did. Then Monroe came along...and when I read of retrieivng, I knew that was my path. But I couldn't afford to attend TMI and I wasn't sure that going OOB to retrieve was the way to go anyway...primarily because of what Monroe talked about in his last book--Phasing...focusing one's attention within. After all, it makes sense to me, that all of life is 'within' anyway.

Your chosen path----you mean retrieving?

Veo, I've attended Bruce Moen's 2 day workshop, but 8 months prior to that and while reading his first book, being the stubborn gypsy that I am---:O), I decided to just do what he  talked abou doing (creating a special place for himself in Focus 27),  a starting point to perhaps meet Guides, become familiar with just being there in my place, get acquainted with having my Focus of Attention away from the physical and see what happened.  Would you like me to share what I did to do that? Please excuse me if you've already done this--or if this isn't something for you, no problem.

Much love,

Ginny

Greetings Ginny,

Which of Robert Monroe's books deals specifically with phasing please?

Thanks!

With best regards,

Adrian.

I've never heard of this, could you explain how you "create a special place" in F27?  Do you just "imagine" things into existence, and they stay there?  Which book did you find this in?

Thanks as always for your description of how it works.  Fascinating stuff I hope to experience first-hand someday...

Yes, I would greatly appreciate if you post on how you build-up  your F27 place. I'm planning to be at one of his workshop in Seattle USA, shortly, and would appreciate any help I could get in learning/experiencing  this new tool.

P.S: Keep-up the retreival journey...love reading about it.

Hi Focus 15,

The workshop with Joe Meboe as host? He's a great guy, Focus 15, and you'll enjoy the workshop. You'll be getting everything you'll ever need to know how to to explore, retrieve, in the afterlife.

I'm going to start a new thread on what I do with  the simple techniques Bruce teaches to shift or phase one's attention into the nonphysical, and perhaps I can also include what I and others have done to create a special place in F27.

Thanks and really look forward to hearing of your adventures at the workshop.

Much love,

Ginny

Hi everyone,

I've been asked to share about retrievals, how to do them, what they're all about. Although I've been assisting in retrievals in  the afterlife for almost two years I'm still learning as I go...and expressing myself with words is not my first language---LOL!. So it's my hope I explain well enough here and since so many of you guys seem to be adept at traveling the afterlife in one way or another, I'll dispense with how I get to the afterlife and just explain, from my own experience, what I do to participate in what I feel is a wonderful service. If anyone wants to know how I, in an awake and fully conscious state of mind,  tune my Focus of Attention away from the physical in order to explore the nonphysical and help in retrievals, just give me a holler.

What I've learned so far in my afterlife travels is that most people, upon dying, go where their strong beliefs/desires take them.  Some though end up getting into an afterlife situation Bob Monroe, Bruce Moen and other afterlife explorers have labeled as 'stuck', in an area of afterlife consciousness known as Focus 23. Generally, people in this area of consciousness, Focus 23,  are for the most part isolated and think  they're still alive, in the physical. For instance, when a person dies suddenly, unexpectedly...they may end up in Focus 23 and be in a state of bewilderment, having no idea they actually died. Some folks who believed while in the physical there was no life after death may be there as well, or children who had not formed enough beliefs to know where to go upon dying and so now wait in Focus 23 for their parents to come get them. I'm only giving just a few examples of the many reasons why people end up in Focus 23, but noneltheless, they are almost always isolated and thinking they're still alive. ..and it's this 'thinking they're still alive' that at times causes a problem for them. Since they 'think they're still alive' they simply do not notice or become aware of loving Helpers, Guides, or even a deceased family member, trying to get their attention...so they remain isolated and stuck. This is why retrievers-- physically alive people--can at times be of great assistance to helping these people, along with Helpers, out of that isolation and onto better places. Retrievers have a 'still-in-the-physical feeling/presence' about them that these stuck individuals feel/ recognize and respond to, only because they themselves *believe they are also still alive and in the physical*.  All a retriever need do is feel out the stuck person's situation (introduce yourself, get a feel for why the person is stuck, play along with their thinking/believing until you become aware of any advice from Helpers etc) and help them simply become aware of Helpers.  In most cases it's not difficult to introduce them to a 'friend'  you have with you, a Helper  (this could be a Helper you traveled with to Focus 23 or one who's presence you felt after arriving there, or your own Guides, etc)  who can then take them to a better place.  Once the stuck person is *aware* of the Helper(s) they are definitely in good hands. Helpers will most likely already know the needs of each stuck individual and be prepared to assist them in where they need to go etc. And by the way,  Helpers are people in the afterlife who have at some time experieced being human in the physical,  just like us, but who now have chosen to be of help to those who need it There. They always work and assist others, from the heart, from a place of unconditional love.

The best way I can think of, for anyone to begin participating in retrievals, is once you've  gone through your preparatory process  to move into the nonphysical, or you've already moved into it, then place the intent (strong desire/thought) to either be in F23 to assist a stuck person, or place the intent to be with a Helper/Guide to help a stuck person. I prefer meeting with Helpers and following their lead but go with whatever feels best to you.

I'm sure you guys already know about the senses we're all learning to use in the afterlife, but I just thought I'd throw in that often I don't "see' in 3D while There,  as we see in the physical. I may get fleeting images of hazy or bright figures, but what's important, at least to my learning, is to be open and pay attention to feelings, thoughts, impressions, knowings, that come to us. Helpers will do all they can to help you, epsecially when first learning about retrieving, and I have also found that the act of placing intent always works with anything: it has to. So, if I'm seeing or experiencing something in Focus 23 I don't understand  I just * let the image go and ask for better understanding*....and my mind will work harder on perceiving and interpreting more accurately what or who is nearby.

Hope I've explained this okay...and thank you all for the warm welcome.

Much love,

Ginny
