Dream turns into memorable experience

The dream started where I was moving into a new apartment with 3 guy friends and 1 friend that was a girl. It was a very dirty place and for some reason I was hungry and it felt like I hadn't ate much all day. I finally ate something and I believe it was a few sticks of celery and a glass of milk. After eating it gets a little blurry but I know I was worried about my girlfriend (was not there in the dream) and one of my friends (new roomate) being together behind my back. My new roomates then said they just saw a mouse and were all looking for it. After I found out there was mice I wanted to look at the rooms that I would be sleeping in. I went around and looked at the first 2 rooms and they were both very small. I then went into a very big room which had a weird design. The walls had a pane of glass that ran around the whole room but was just a strip around the base. It was obviously the best room. The girl roomate said she had already taken this room. There was a door on the other end that I guessed in the dream led to outside which the girl roomate could not get open. While we were sitting in there the girl roomate started to come on to me. She said I know you want me I can tell by the way you look at me. She then threw me on the ground and tried to kiss me and I put my hand over my mouth so she only kissed the back of my hand. I then left the room and found that my apartment was now having a huge party. There was a bunch of people I didn't know including black men with those winter beanies that cover your entire face. I also saw people I did know but when I tried to talk to them it was like they didn't know me. They were not people I knew very well but people who should at least remember me. After this I am thinking about my girlfriend again and I over hear people saying "MyName, is pathetic". I don't know what it was about but I was thinking I was being blind to the fact my girlfriend was cheating behind my back. After this I head out to the back yard. I don't know where it came from but there were many people in the back yard getting drunk. The party was very loud and sure enough the land lord of the place yells from her place that she is going to call the police. Everyone says lets get out of here and go to another party. I am glad they are all leaving and they clear out very quickly jumping over the fences and stuff. While I am walking I see a little girl maybe 6 to 10 years old in a nice dress laying on the ground. I ask her how she got here and she said how. It is a little blurry now but I believe it was her aunt or her aunt's friend brought her and left her. I said we have to get you home and she just ran away from me.

Somehow I ended up being fully conscious. I knew what I had to do to have an out of body experience. I had to open my eyes with my mind. I forced them open to something very hard to describe. It was like blackness but it was silvery. I heard a loud popping noise when I opened my eyes and sort of felt pain when I got them open. My body began to raise up and I got out of my body which I never saw but I ended up getting excited and then the experience ended.

The weird thing is now I can't remember when I became conscious. For some reason I have a feeling this happened right before I found that little girl laying on the ground in my dream. I am not sure though if it happened before or after that. I know me finding that girl on the ground was during the same dream as the party I described. When I was sitting down to type this when I thought of helping that girl on the ground it brought tears to my eyes and I don't know why...
