Trying to understand my experience

So I'm trying to figure out where I'm currently at. Earlier today when I was meditation and trying to well... reach out I guess. I started to get a pulling sensation at the top of my head. And possibly for merely a few moments I think I began to see images. Granted I couldnt make them out at all...mostly just went from a spec of color to purple outlines of something. Not really sure what I was experiencing but I had to cut it short because of work. Pretty much throughout the day my head kept feeling like it was getting pulled upward. Like I could actually just let my head drop and it will tilt all the way to a side and roll over my shoulders until I was facing straight up again if I made no resistance. Needless to say I was a bit spooked. After I got home I decided to try again except this time lying down on my bed. After a good while began to feel numb, not quite sleep paralysis. My body started to warm up all over...granted that could just be me laying there but it didnt feel natural. Once again my head kept getting the pull sensation... I tried focusing on it as much as I could but I dont think I could go any further. There was a few moments on the right side of my neck I felt like something was pressing against it and it felt amazingly good...like pure bliss just in that one spot. However it went away not after long and then I didn't feel like I could really do much else. So I got up.

My body still feels warm, the pulling sensation is more faint than it was earlier. So I'm trying to figure out what I experienced...was I getting close to what we label as OBE?, Projecting? Or perhaps I've attracted something? Any thoughts?

Okay now I'm starting to get concerned. The pulling sensation just started to pick up in intensity and its even stronger than before. I'm starting to feel strain when I try to resist it....

Trying to ground the best I can but Im not sure what else to do.

This is probably the best bet if you are uncomfortable with it, and it is disrupting your normal day.

Eat some heavy foods. Spend some time outside during the day. Lay on your side at night, rather than your back. Pay more attention to bodily sensations than mental sensations.

Trust me, I have been in my fair share of prolonged altered states. It can be wonderful, but it can also take you out of sync with your normal reality, and get you into trouble with your life routines, unfortunately.
