I was listening to a binaural beat meditation lesson...thing...

After I got prepared to AP and had the vibrations/paralisys, it said that I should try to throw and catch and imaginary ball in order to learn how to control myself while AP'ing. All it said was "imagine a fairly heavy ball and toss it around with your imaginary arms"

Should I have tried to raise my real arms? or imagine that there are arms catching the ball?

(quick bit of useless info) I raised my real arms and it messed up my concentration, I quit the lesson and went to sleep...while sleeping I had my first Lucid Dream  :-D yay

I myself have listened to that same binaural beat mp3.  They are trying to get you to imagine you are doing this so your awarness shifts into your astral body.  However as i went on listening to the track it became to confusing for me to follow and I just decided to fall asleep.  That night I too had a fantastic lucid dream, so even though i didn't have an obe the binaural beat did give me the opportunity to have a lucid dream.

Any action which makes you think of your body is going to bring you back from trance.
I don't recommend this. (including the rope tech).

Instead, try to be in between sleep and awake state and observe the phase shift. Don't get alarmed if you hear voices, noises or see things. It happens on its own and you are out automatically. First requirement is to quieten your mind, remove the thoughts.

If binaural floats your boat, well .... no issues.

Good job, try again! Remember NEVER give up!

I been using the "No Mind" which really should be called "No Body:"

Hope this makes AP'ing easier for you!
Use 'C Up' for a boost!
