Reaching the Astral Plane

I was wondering if there were any specific techniques or ways to enter Focus 3 oC?  The two out of body experiences that I have had took place in Focus 2 oC, or the "Real Time Zone" as some people like to call it.  I don't really understand what I have to do in order to reach this next level.  Any suggestions?

I believe there's some posts around here on how to do this, but I don't feel like looking.
So, when you're in the etheric (RTZ) look for anomalies (such as doors or windows) that don't belong, and go through them.  If no anomalies or vortexes, then fly upwards really fast, and go through the roof if you're inside.  Then a few things can happen.
You may find yourself outside, or you may find yourself in 'outer space'.  If outside keep going up as fast as possible, until your scene shifts, or if in 'space' go to a star, or, look back down on the earth, and see if you see  something floating in 'space'.  Then go there.
All of these are ways to go into the astral locales.

Thank you CFTraveler, that sounds like a really good idea.  The only thing that kind of sucks is I can't fly on demand for some reason so I hope I can find some sort of anomalies like you were talking about.  Thanks

If you can't fly on demand that shows me that you haven't mastered all the ways to move in one environment- so it may be possible that you may have to learn to master it before you are able to continue going to the next available degree of separation (from the physical).  But maybe not, maybe getting to the next level will help you in that particular ability.
Keep a lookout for vortexes too- those can be a lot of fun.  (At least in my experience).
