what exactly are you doing with the tuning forks?

The Bard

I have a set full octave tuning forks that I use for tuning my Celtic harp and piano.

holy reality

"If that doesn't work for you try soaking in the bathtub and astral projecting while soaking in water."

NO

not unless you want to risk drowning.... if you project, your body has gone to sleep, if your body has gone to sleep it may very well relax and loosen enough to well... make you end up submerging your head in the water.

i wouldn't risk that... all it takes is one second under there combined with involuntary and automatic breathing and you're dead.

my lights were flashing while I wrote that.... weird.

personally i don't think it's a good idea to try to project in water.

I suppose it depends on the size of your tub. I don't try to astral project in water but it happens to me every time I bath. I can't soak in a bath without falling into a trance. That is why I advised it. I have never drowned. My body woke me up the one time I almost went under water. I even fall into a trance and astral project if I do the back float while swimming but my husband watches over me when I swim.

I just thought since water does that for me it might for others but I agree there is potential danger so only do it if you have someone watching out for you. Actually for me the only time it got dangerous was when my water got cold and I almost got hypothermia. My husband thought to check on me and woke me up before it got serious.

Well, the chakras are tuned to frequencies, so I guess there could be some sort of correlation...

Have you ever observed the different, if any, effects of different tones?

/me wanders off singing do, re, mi, fa, so, la, ti, fa. =)

Lately my children and I have been playing a game with my full Octave tuning forks. We each take turns guessing the note of the sound and than try to sing the note. It has been really helping us tune our ears and balance our energy.

Today after I tuned and played my Celtic lap harp, guitar, and Dulcimer I started playing with the tuning forks. I fell into a trance. Afterward I realized part of the reason it's not hard for me to fall into trances and it is so easy to leave my body without any effort is because the stringed instruments and the tuning forks aid me in meditation.
For those who have problems being distracted by sounds and other things, you might want to consider trying full octave tuning forks or a singing dorji bell. It will balance your energy, tune your ears and help you fall into a trance. If that doesn't work for you try soaking in the bathtub and astral projecting while soaking in water.
