I think anything that stills the mind would be considered a great help-meditation, martial arts, yoga. I had my first 'spontanious' obe's after waking in the night and doing meditation techniques.
In the world in general and in this nation
May not even the names disease, famine, war, and suffering be heard.
May virtuous qualities, merit, and prosperity greatly increase
And may continuous good fortune and subline well-being perfectly arise.

I agree that meditation can be helpful not only to ap, but also in everyday physical reality. It is an excellent way to center youself and it does an all round good job of maintaining calm.

I let a friend borrow my copy of Astral Dynamics a couple months back because i wasn't using it at the time and had other books to read. Now when i really want to read it, he's only half way through (i'm not mad or anything). I've heard that meditation is a great help with AP, and since i'm going to be able to meditate soon, i was wondering how big of an impact it has on APing. Does it help with AP a great amount, or is it just something that mildly helps? Peace
