I've read through all the posts and have a pretty good grasp of the theories and techniques, so now i'm trying to make something out of it all

i have a few questions

first, would you recommend NEW or should I pass?

second, should I begin by aiming to AP or should I just learn typical meditation and let AP occur when I've mastered concentration?
or maybe I should both meditate and practice AP at the same time?

third, often when i meditate i drift into dreams that are more vivid than normal. I usually have some part of me that's still awake during them, so could I phase into the dream and turn it into a lucid one?

thanks for the help

Quotefirst, would you recommend NEW or should I pass?

I recommend energy work only if you feel you may benefit. If you don't want to or it seems strange to you, don't. It's not necessary, but might have some benefits for certain people.

Again, it's your judgement. Concentration, awareness, and intent are very important skills for AP, and certain types of meditation hone those skills. If you have the time, maybe do some concentration exercises in the morning and attempt AP in the evening. Or roll it all into one... play around with different methods and see what works with you.

Yes, it's possible. Only instead of a random dream to drift into, it's good to create a "rundown" for phasing. If you don't know what a rundown is I suggest doing a search on it, especially Frank's posts.

Good luck!
