Hi AP'ers, this is my first post. I've browsed these forums several times and feel that this is a healthy and thriving online community for those interested in the development of conciousness. So, hello and continue the good work!
Intro aside, I want to describe something that I have felt/experienced as a child, perhaps about 9 years old, maybe younger. It was during a dream, but it was such a dream that is has imbedded itself in my memory and feels so much more important than "all the rest".
The dream, then:
1. In the dream, it felt around 4 am; the sky was turning from black to a rich deep blue. This was very vivid. There was something scenic about it that is still, over a decade later, crystal clear in my minds eye.
2. I felt an urge to make my way to the front door; it felt like someone was waiting for me. I just had the urge to open it. And when I did, that's when the feeling happened. Although I could see nothing in front of my house other than the norm, there was this overwhelming prescence that rushed through me. It was huge, like, massive although I could only feel it. I was in sheer awe but not necessarily happy, fearful but not physically able to react to it. It's kinda like time froze around me and I was left standing jaw-wide-open.
3. In some ways, looking back, it could be described as what it might feel like when, in "The Matrix", Neo is plugged-in for the first time and his face writhes and contorts. I can almost imagine his brain going into some sort of shock for a brief moment and this is sort of what this felt like.
4. It wasn't nostalgia, it COULD be likened to deja vu but it was a bit too "big", basically it was a bizarre feeling that seems so profound for someone as young as I at the time to be able to actually remember. It was very final, like, "omg, this is it", kind of thing.
I wanted to make this post in an attempt to better understand it and in hope that someone knows what I'm talking about.
Thanks!
in get 1. the dream. its amazing how they can stain your memories. dreams somtimes feel realer then the normal word to me. last night i had this crazy dream ware i bare nuckle punched this dude, but i was the one who felt the blow. it felt just like i got punched. its strange to me how i can feel this way in a dream.

to be fair, it was something that had a sort of personality. But, what is strange is that I was so young. Perhaps it could've been something from a previous existence re-occurring?
A mystery I suppose
