Title: Having a tough time wrapping my head around this one
Post by: Sagar on August 07, 2014, 17:42:49
I'm having a tough time wrapping my head around what exactly the astral is.
I've had two OBE's where I've been in this blissful, infinite white light.
But upon reflection I've come to the conclusion that:
It's like a white light that stretches in infinite directions, but it's not a colour so to speak.  It's so different than the whitest white you could ever see in the physical reality.
So I thought Ok it's light then.  But it's not like light from the sun.  It doesn't make shadows, and I don't recall feeling any heat from it like the sun.
When I'm there I experience it as "everything," but it doesn't seem to be like any gas or fluid like air. Like no molecules or atoms of any sort, so while its "everything" it seems to be nothing at the same time.
So..
White but not
Light but not
Everything but nothing
It's impossible to explain what it's like being there to my brother because when I try to explain it, it only makes more questions.

??????????

Explain more.
It's wide open to many things at present. More info will help greatly.

Try calling it the NPR (Non Physical Realms/Reality) instead of the Astral. Then you will see that anything that you experience outside of this awaking physical reality is being experienced there.

You will find that that is quite a bit. There are endless experiences in the NPR and quite a few of them that will lack a "Human" based explanation. Meaning we don't quite have the words to describe what you are seeing or experiencing there. That's what makes it such a place of awe and ALLOWS you the opportunity for expansion behind your "wildest Dreams".  :-)

I really wish I could.  But as Lionheart said, I don't have many more ways of describing it.

Has anyone else experienced something similar to this though?

I'm looking for one key word in your description.
I hear things like this and all that's happening is a comment of wishful thinking from a book in many cases.
Yours already has passed this test, so my question is 'how did you feel'?
It's a decisive answer that'll put things into perspective.
One word is all it takes.

Here's one word descriptions of this area Bizarre, Overwhelming, Enlightening, Peaceful. I'm sure you get where I am going with this.

I just wrote about this recently in my thread on my "Download Dream". The night following my Download Dream, I found myself in this "white room"/infinite while light scenario. I say room because I felt there were walls, but couldn't see any. It was likely another "Simulation Bubble" that Kurt Leland speaks about in this article. If you haven't read it yet, you should. It's very good and answers quite a few of the Astral related questions.

I felt enlightened and the whole situation was blissful.  That would be the best way to describe it
And thank you I will read it  :-)

Szaxx replied to my post about what he thought the "white Light" scenario was. That reply and my brief experience can be found here: http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/welcome_to_dreams/the_download_aka_the_forbidden_dream-t44872.0.html;msg350302#new
