blank senses?

Trying to solve my problems with conscious projection, last night I did a meditative attempt & noise from the others in my household prevented it. I remember chatting with some new associates about a few of my projection experiences, and one noted that they seemed to be inconsistent- which I admit is why I've been feeling so doubtful about my experiences.

so I've tried looking for consistency with my experiences.

1. the start is always involving some kind of movement, either falling or floating.

2. environments are in some way shape or form, aged, either in colors or in atmosphere. I find myself surrounded by old things or people. the exception is the "Kid room" experience.

3. in my attempts to project  I have noticed that for about a few seconds at a time, I achieve a state of "Blank senses".

Usually I have something in my room to drown out the snoring from everybody else (we sleep with rooms adjacent to each other, and I'm the only one who closes their door), such as a fan, or air conditioner. When I have these "blank Sense" moments, it's as if I can't hear or feel anything, and I can confirm that feeling becomes blank as well, as I have achieved this state with a bed massager on.

I feel like I'm supposed to look for this when try to project, I want to know what you guys think of this and if or not I should actually keep this objective.

Try a simple pair of cheap earplugs, that will help "drown" out the sounds.

But, it is good to work through the sounds as well.

Once you can do that, you will find that nothing can stop your process of Aping.

The "Blank Senses" state is a state that we experience between the physical and non physical realities. It's kind of like a dark tunnel between the two.

You are doing great, experience it now, question it once you have a number of Journeys to compare to.

Keep a good Journal of your progress though. This is very important, especially at the beginning.

Good Luck and Safe Travels!  :-)

:D

yay! today has shown quite a revelation!

one of my biggest frustrations was not knowing "what my progress level" is, so to speak. this post changes a lot! thank you!

also, I remember seeing a post somewhere on here on focusing on a specific "tone of voice", I thought that mantras were exclusively vocal (and rather silly to be honest), but having tried it out with my mind's voice, I can see where they're going!

again! thank you!

It's always great to hear another member is having "quite a revelation".

Here's to many more!  :-)

...and yes, Mantras are a great way to create Non Physical focus.
