I'm thinking about buying the Hemi Sync cd's so I was just wondering if they work pretty decently and if anyone has had any good experience with them

I use "Sound Sleeper" to get to sleep, and I have been pleased with the results. I wake up more refreshed, without needing as much sleep.

I just used "Morning Exercise" for the first time today--it's got the hemisync technology and affirmations about how well you're going to handle everything today, etc., and it really got me off to a good start. It was funny, I kept thinking "What a great day I'm having! All because I listened to a CD that told me how great my day was going to be!"

Even waiting at the post office in a long line with that one lady who kept needing to be told what to do and took absolutely forever didn't irritate me like it usually would.

I have "Let-go" and "Relax" but it's been awhile since I used them, and I haven't used them very consistently. But I think they are good because they let you program yourself to let go of disturbing thoughts and relax by giving yourself a mental command. When I did use them, I found them effective.

NickJW, which CD's do you want to buy ? There are a lot of them, so it's important to know what are you searching for... Do you mean, The Gateway Experience ?

Yes the Gateway experience. I was also looking on line and found that there is 2 Wave 5's (one of which could be a hoax) and anther volume called Prospecting. Monroe's site only has six, but the sites with prospecting have 7 Waves. Whats up with this?

If you listen to the Gateway Experience and it's good for you, I suggest you buying it, but if it's not worth it, you don't need to waste your money...

Once installed, play a little bit with the program. You have to connect to a server (Razorback recommended) do a search and download...

All you should need is Wave I (to start with). It's helped me tremendously, but it's not magic. Just a little push and guidance. The main thing I like about it is the time of each track. At about 35 minutes, it takes you through a complete session instead of just laying there for 2 hours waiting for something to happen.

I see a lot of people getting the gateway series, and spending little time rushing through the exercises without fully developing the taught states due to impatience for results.
I still use the Wave I, introduction to F10 and advanced F10 exercises, 5 years on. My state of F10 is now pretty impressive (it has developed into a deep trance state which I can produce quickly).
I do use Wav II materials too (F12). But I would say even as you move on, continue to use F10 exercises because the F10 state can become pretty profound in its own right.

Theres nothing stopping you using the whole series, I just meant that rushing through the series will have little effect.
Brainwave entrainment (and re-accessing those states through triggers) is something which develops over time. Hemi-Sync isn't like BWGen ie you don't use them to have an OBE during the exercise itself. Hemi-Sync gives you a set of tools which become more effective the more you use them. THis can be likened to meditation.
Someone who has been meditating for 10 years (practicing F10 for 10 years) will be able to reach deeper states than someone who has been meditating for just 2 months or a year etc.

Out of cuiosity, have you experienced the F10 and F12 states as entrained through HS? I ask this as the shift of consiousness in these states (for me at least) is very different to what a normal trance state or 'mind awake body asleep' felt like before I started using HS.

Hey how does Hemi Sync compare to the free mp3s which are advertised on this site, like the ones on gnomad.info, can anyone compare?
I'd like the Gateway Experience but it would be a big stretch to afford it & I want to be sure it'll be worth it.

I noticed no one realy answered your question about the two different versions of the Gateway Experience program. The reason you are seeing two versions of Wave V is because there are two genuine versions of Wave V. In late 2003, after Bob's daughter Lori took over TMI, the Gateway Experience program was revamped and 6 of the old program tracks were eliminated, (I believe that was mostly the old Wave VI, Prospecting, that you are refering to), therefore the new program has only 6 Waves, and the old program developed by Bob has 7 waves. Hope this helps.

incomparable, like m.jingo said about bwgen  (at  Thu Dec 08, 2005 9:25 pm)  these files are meant to make a sudden extreme reaction like beating your state with a hammer.  the nirvana file is messing with mad "jesussonsciousness" at 70 hz wich will likely  'just' entrain you partially up to over 20 hz and create anxiety and stress and sleeplessness for one or more days (if you are not flexible enough to correct your state once it was messed up)
worst thing hemisync would do is: nothing. at best it teaches you controll

i don t say files designed for sudden reactions are bad, just some of them use verry stupid frequencies. dont trust but research & think on each of them.
