How long does it take you to enter the trance state, full trance, cause I'm on my bed or sitting on the chair for 20, 30 minutes and nothing, i feel a little bit heavy and my arms feel numb but other then that nothing :(
About 5 minutes. The key is relaxation. Its really the only step I use.

Eldarion, what are you doing during those 20/30 minutes ? Where is your mind ? Thinking about what ? If you are not in the correct state, you won't get a trance even if you stay there for 30 hours :)
This is what I do:
1) Comfortable Body Position. No tension in my muscles.
2) Make sure there's not tension at all, specially in my face, specifically in my eyes and lips.
3) 2 to 4 mins concentrating on my breath, placing my awareness on my nostrils
4) I'm in a light trance: I imagine (and feel) myself falling down.
5) That's it :) I'm in trance.
Good Luck and don't run.
Magic.
For me it takes like 5 minutes to enter a small trace (body tingles) then when the tingles get a little more intense and spread out through my body I clear my mind by simply letting my thought voice tell me "I am going to Project tonight" somtimes when Im doing that for some reason i see my self walking around in circles in a weird hallway over and over and I keep passing this girl I know, i dont know why but i do and she is wearing usually all black with like a red necklace, but anyway I clear my mind and enter a deeper trance that takes about 10-15 minutes. so overall for me I guess it will usually take 20 minutes or longer.
When you all talk about it it seems so darn easy, i try to clear my mind, concentrate on my breathing, i do that almost every day, it doesnt help :(

When I first started out, one of the most useful tools I found was self-hypnosis. After a bit of experimentation, this allowed me to enter varying degrees of trance.
If you do any descrived procedures for a long time and nothing happens, this means youre not concentrating enought, are not feeling "it"?
-If i concentrate too much to not think my head becomes "un"relaxed
-Few times i try to focus on my nostrils i got something like pumping up to my head with every breath makind me dizzy(should i try to feel/reproduce this)
-Once iwas ytrying to relax my head(its not relaxed usually coz im concentrating) i lost all toughts and as i relaxed my head the "pumping" started again..
..how do i hold on to this 'pumping" feeling, if its what i should be looking for..
..if not..what then?
