F10? Astral Screen? Phasing? Advice please!

I'm pretty sure what I had was not the same thing, but it grabbed my attention when I read it.  I put mine down to hypnagogic images but now I'm wondering...

A few days ago I was reading the posts on the forum on the computer which is in my bedroom, then decided it was a good time to practice attempting OBE.  I lay down, relaxing, focusing, saw hypnogogic images then felt like I was floating around my bedroom, everything was exactly as Gandalf stated above; full colour, better than best quality DVD (no sound though but I wouldn't expect it in my bedroom).  I had been on the forum and left my computer logged into the forum.  I started floating straight towards the computer and I had the feeling I could have floated straight into it, like actually "into" the posts, if that's possible!  I got a little worried about being trapped in the computer, lol!, and at that point the image faded away.  At no point during this did I feel I had a body of any sort.

I felt no vibrations, at least only gentle sensations, not like the violent vibrations that have been described in many posts, so as I say, it was more than likely hypnogogic.

I haven't been using bwgen, but I have been reading many of the posts on phasing and have been focusing on awareness in points in my brain, moving energy between left/right hemispheres and in particular a point somewhere in the middle.

So what was this?  Was it F10 hypnogogic images?  Was I a point of consciousness?  Was it a vision screen?  Am I going nuts?

I get more confused every day!
