How to project with ADHD?

Is there an easy method that could work for me, or should I just give up?

Except for a few wonderful "accidental" projections in the past, I find it very hard to project. I still have not advanced past the first few baby steps. And whenever I try, I just fail a lot. I find it very hard to stay focused and keep concentration. My mind wanders a lot randomly, and a lot of times, I even forget what I'm doing, and I can't stay still and tend to fidget. I been talking with someone who has ADHD, and I think I may have it, I experience the same things she does. I looked over a page that has symptoms of ADHD, and I have almost all of them on a daily basis (it doesnt say you have to have all the symptoms, but I have almost all of them). I think I finally found out why it's so hard for me whenever I try to project, and do other things in my life that come so easily for everyone else. :x

Well, if you THINK you have it go to the doctor and he will prescribe you a stimulant (speed). :)

Just chill, I was tested as a kid, never had it and never will. But my mind does wander quite a bit! Did you know on average normal people day dream like 100 times a day? Well something like that, just keep trying.

it is verry likely that i have add without h. add has been descibed as "having too much of asynchronized theta brain waves". or my brain hast just a sick tendency of beein asynchronous. maybe it has a verry healthy and spiritual tendency to be in low theta and beeing asynchronous ist just the result of not beein able to handle that (in conjuction with stressfull left brain oriented modern life). i dont take everything they say about add. and still hope to learn to better control. if i could afford neurofeedback, that would be the best.

unless you do not allready know bwgen or the like i have no method for you. give up? don't know. im sort of in the accidental baby stage myself....

I don't have money to spend for tapes! That is just yet another one of the depressing aspects of my life. I was hoping I could learn to AP to learn more about myself spiritually and the world, and to help me do something to help get me out of and mind off of my supposed clinical depression (my friend who I talked to that has ADHD also has clinical depression, and guess what, I got all the same symptoms for that as well. Go figure!), but it looks like I can't even do that even, because every method I've tried lately just fails me. And on top of all of this, I think my body likes to tease me, because I've had an instantaneous spontaneous projection once, when I wasn't trying to project.

Huh? What are you talking about?

koni

pardon my bad english, you where talkin about accidntal projections and doing baby steps... so am i

i take for granted that it is normal to have that stage.
think. others try for years without succes. we are the lucky ones.

i have no money my self. there is emule where you can get some mp3 files if you have broadband flatrate. and evil people know cheap ways to register bwgen, but i wont tell u since they probably don't like that topic here. i mean the moderators not the evil ones.

oh, I was talking about the accident and baby step stuff? I just totally forgot because I got distracted from writing my second post and then my mind wandered. See! I do have ADHD! lol....I can't even remember and figure out something as simple as that.

Lucky? I would rather be able to control my abilities, then to be teased with accidents.

MP3 tapes? Does that actually work, wouldn't you need the original audioI don't think lossy compression is good for things that are gonna be messing around with your head, if it's even able to do that in the first place, since crucial audio information that's not so apparent is missing.

koni

as long as you can hear a binaural beat with both ears but not with one ear alone it works and cant harm you. only verry few tapes use so low or so high carrier frequencies that they would be affected by compression. or CD containing "silentsound" subliminals cant be compressed as well. but mp3 compression works perfect for most stuff. like "metamusic" series from monroe institute. i recomend the "remembrance" CD. get's me in well synchronised low beta.

Actually I forgot  that I have tried experimenting with binaural beats before! uggh I can't ever remember anything. I forgot I have bwgen. Is that a good program? I tried testing out some presets earlier and didn't notice anything. I also totally forgot that I downloaded a binaural beat mp3 that I downloaded from a sticky topic in a previous incarnation of this forum. I remember I was getting wierd sensations last time I used it, almost as if I was starting to get vibes or something.

Ok, everyone look at the symptoms of ADD and ADHD. It's BULL imo. I have it, you have it. Hell everyone has it. Furthermore, if you concentrate on the symptoms, they will manifest as well.  This country and the diagnosis's. It's total bull for the drug companies to pimp your cash and the insurance companies and get kick backs from Big Brother. Yes there are some severe cases where it is warranted I suppose, but for the greater majority, it's crap.

It only seems like this is easier for everyone else. You can be sure that the rest of us here have to work at it to get results, just like you are doing.

I'd suggest looking into things which do not require a lot of active participation until you develop some confidence in your abilities. Reiki would be a good place to begin. Using crystals and other physical objects to support your practice is good, too.

I think I may have found an exit method that is easy for me[/b]. I've read that ADHD is charactized by more then usual theta brain waves, is this true? Well, I think it is, because I've always found it really easy to do daydreams and mind's eye visualizations when I close my eyes. I mean, really easy, because lately when  I can do them, sometimes they become really vivid. The times that they become more vivid then usuall has been, for some reason, increasing since like last year, and really increasing rapidly since like three months ago. I once was doing this with my eyes open, and I swear I almost saw what I was envisioning, it was superimposed in the physical, but very vague. And just the other day, I was doing it and I thought I had slipped into a lucid dream, but I was fully awake and aware of the physical. Someone told me this is subconcious APing. Is this true? And also, I've used this vivid visualization once last year, to AP.

More about this whole visualization thing here in this thread:
http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=153668#153668

Maybe I can use this as a gateway to APing, if I practice it more and more so I can get good at it, it's the only thing that seems to work for me. Because as I said, I find it very hard to AP the normal ways of meditating or just laying down and relaxing, and trying to get my body to fall asleep, I just can't ever seem to do it, I get restless, and my brain chatter is always so high sometimes that I can't get it to shutup. I used to be able to do it the normal ways on a few occasion last year (and the experiences were nothing spectacular, just the baby step things), but since then, I just can't.

ADHD shouldn't stop u from projecting.  I was borderline ADHD when I was tested at I think 5 years old but though I haven't been tested since, I've been told I've got most of the signs.  It's probably a mind set you have.  If you're convinced u can't project with ADHD, then you won't.  You've got to change that.

Nothing can dampen pure intent.
