Almost there but no breakthrough...Please guide

This is my first post here. I am from India and English is not my first language so excuse me for some bad English.

Here is what I am trying since last week.

I am new to AP , meditating for last two years using  Eastern Meditative techniques.

Getting into a trance like state is not a big issue for me, still it takes some good 10 to 15 minutes of time.

At present ,  after getting into a trance like state , I get a feeling very similar to airplane take off . I also sense the take off condition as well as exact feeling of the moment when  airplane wheels  lift from ground totally.  I also get a feeling of light weight, sort of floating but at the same time I strongly feel that something is holding / pulling  me back (or rather my conscious is not ready to believe that I am free floating) .

Well, then after nothing happens and I can't continue / progress any further .  I return (at least that's what I feel) to ground (bed).
Please guide me how to detach completely and start the journey.

Well your English is quite impressive so no issues there, easily understandable i have read much worse.
I think continuous practice will benefit you as you are really well and sound like you understand the issues restricting you :) maybe try find away of letting go more and focusing less about actually having an OOBE.

I'm no expert, or guide...since you attribute the sensations to an airplane taking off could you imagine you are on a plane at first, and then slowly remove the pieces...I only say because this morning I imagined a roller coaster attached to the side of a mountain.  On the drops my stomach dropped and the vibrations increased tremendously...Based on what you wrote I agree, your English is better than most...Including mine.... :x

Would just like to point out MHCS that sounds like a very interesting method thanks for sharing will give it a try ;)
