I need a quick answer

There is a LEGAL drug I think its called silvia or something, that gives you hallucinations and other things.  I also heard people use it for projecting.
Well my brother wants to try it, bc its legal and to see if it helps him AP. 

I want to know if anyone has heard about or tried this drug and could tell me what to expect.  Please help!

I believe you are meaning Salvia divinorum... i have known someone in the past that has tried it.. It is NOT legal in the country i live in..
From what he said it doesn't last long (could time it in minutes).. But sounds like you would need to be some kind of Shaman to control the experience.. I have heard you can take a question with you into the experience and you will be given the answer.. My friend prepared for a week or so before using it but upon smoking it could NOT remember the question he had been preparing for a week or so... but it did produce a strong psychological induced trip with hallucinations

In my opinion this substance COULD induce an AP but it would be almost impossible to control..

With continual use i HAVE also heard stories of addiction being attributed to this substance. Probably being more of a psychological nature than physiological from what i have read.

If you/your brother are truly looking to explore the realms of consciousness & experience consistent repeatable controllable results etc and ensure that the experience is indeed authentic then consider putting in the time and work. There are few REAL shortcuts in this life...

i had a friend who tried this drug to he said he had a bad experience with this drug and it is legal in the united states, i would suggest the same as the above mentioned

Well he is not just using it to try to dive into the astral, he also just wants to experience a drug to have the experience.  I just didnt want him jumping into something without knowing to much

from experience all drugs legal or not (those in common recreational use anyway) have their own unique spin, their own unique way they cause you to view the world. I must say i've never tried this substance but i have used an array of substances in the past.

My friend who used this found the experience positive but the herb quite potent although it didn't last long. I've had other things with him in the past but he believes while on this drug the connection he felt to things around him (possibly himself/the oneness) was more strong than on e or mushrooms etc. He also felt he was melting into the ground he was laying on.. Was any of it real...?? .. he had fun as i have had most of the time i have used..

But if your brother is looking to use a drug for the first time "to have the experience" of using drugs.. fine.. but be warned if the experience is positive it is likely to happen again and there are so many drugs to experience, so many weekends, so many opportunites and this happening and that... where will it end!! When your mind is messed up, when you're cranky and the likely cause is either too much or too little drugs ... who knows anymore when you are at this stage and getting cranky is just a first sign.

Consider this from someone who used recreational drugs from the age of 15 till i was 29. I am now 31.. although most of it was fun & to a degree i feel i learnt some things (it caused me to further question reality, consciousness & the unknown) ..now when i look back at those years.. fu.ck that is a lot of wasted years.. a lot of wasted years where i could have been doing MORE to advance myself .. really advance myself through creating a more positve physical reality for myself.. advance through greater emotional intellegence & becoming a master of my mind and through having experiences that were tangible and real .. real in a way that i know was real and not just some made up crap from the drug induced coma on my mind. Please take these words with you as you travel further in this world,

PS. If you are on this website you are probably years ahead of where i was when i was younger. You are already QUESTIONING!! Questioning will lead you on a lifelong search for answers. questions without concrete proof (it only needs to be concrete to you) will cause an emptyness that drugs and the drug experiences will not fill. You may think they are being filled while you are using but when you stop they will still be there. Drugs will not open the veil as long as you desire. If you can give yourself the time and patience to explore further without drugs masking your experience you will be a happier, more knowledgeable & more open person in the future. I am sure of that!

I thank you for the advice and warnings.  I myself have had a few experiences with drugs and like you though it was fun to a degree but realized it didnt have the answers I was looking for.  I am going to be the sitter for my brother so he doesnt do anything while under the influence and I will make sure he doesnt continue use.  I dont think he will, he just wants the one time experience.  Besides, he doesnt even know where to begin to find it.
