I don't get what the problem is. I don't know about you, but I don't know what 'falling asleep normally' is. You're just becoming conscious in REM, which is eminently normal.
im not trying to become aware at the time and when i am its onley my eyes, thats aware of it visuly. just wondering what it is if its wild or something else.
From what you said it seems to be wild. That's what usually happens to me when I wake up in the morning and go back to sleep. Maybe because my mind is still in dream mode but I'm conscious when I go back to bed.

cool thanks how do you turn on your thoughts as mine is projected by over dream characters, instead off me :) so if im thinkg about what do the in the dream the dream characters say what im thinking.lol
So your saying that your dream consciousness is spread over your dream characters? Your not actually in the dream? Sorry I'm finding it hard make sense of what your saying

I think what astralee is saying is that when dreaming, her dream characters say what she is thinking, she/he then becomes aware in the dream.
Oh ok so she is present in her dream but her dream characters reflect her thoughts?

Yes but this is often the number one indicator that the characters in out experiences are just manifestations from us. Independent beings don't usually do this, Unless they are just playing with you. :-)
In most dreams, lucid or not, the entire landscape is a reflection of the dreamer. So I'm still not sure if there's supposed to be a problem.

thanks yes im a he
Sorry.
For about 6 months now I have also remained consciously aware as I fell asleep. I witness my progression into "Dreamland", but only when I don't have anything pressing on my mind. If I have a show the next day or have to awaken early for some other reason, then I can just turn this effect off and go to sleep.
It took awhile to be able to turn it off at will though. This came with a lot of focused intent, as this entire practice in general requires.

Thank you Lionheart for letting us know about it. That is very encouraging.
