Hi guys.

As I commented here two weeks ago, I still don't successfully project after six months of attempts. But I'm still trying, and don't have plans to desist until I got it. So, I think any advice here will help me to accomplish that.

When I'm "trying" to projecting, usually after a while I became to lose awareness, and appears to came to my mind any kind of scenes (visuals and sounds especially) like little dreams that occurs between 1 and 10 seconds (really shorts). And in that time I just forget where I'm and what I'm trying, just get absorb by the scene, like a dream again.

My question is: this is a good or bad signal in terms of projecting successfully???

IMO they are strongly related to the "dreamland" because as it becomes stronger and more frequent I generally lose totally awareness and fall asleep. And it occurs more often when I'm too sleepy.

Oh, and I've watched that this little dreams are different to the black outs that I related to the change of consciousness (when you wake back more away from physical).

What are your thoughts about this???

Thanks and sorry for my english

"Little dreams" are a great sign.

You're consciously ending the dreams become you want to become aware in the exact same state, however beginners often wake themselves physically as well as consciously. It's a tight rope act at first but this is where your commitment will prove handy.

This is also why meditation is so important. If you can only reach these "little dreams" while you're really sleepy, you will fall asleep most of the time. You will also have brief OOBEs that are just enough to make you question if it was a dream or the real deal. The answer is that they are ALWAYS the real deal.

Meditate, use affirmations, and celebrate your little dreams.

You are doing great. Have a read of this, you'll see for yourself.
You do need more sleep though first. A few nights NOT trying and an extra hour of sleep WILL make a big difference.

There's far more where the eye can't see.
Close your eyes and open your mind.

They are hypnagogic imagery.  If you fall asleep they turn into regular dreams, if you can remain awake you can enter them lucidly and have an astral projection.

It's good in the sense that you are at the threshold and still aware, it's bad in that you're falling asleep and getting sucked into them- unless it's with complete awareness and you are in control.  Then it's all good.
Why?
