I like both of them, and other systems really.
The Focus models (Monroe and Franks) are what launched my progress... so I have to really give them some mad props for that, but on the flip side, I'm now recognizing how they can also hold a person back, and how the need eventually arises to move on from them and develop your own "personal" models.

it's not that.  i've read a lot of the authors that get praise around here and I like a lot of them quite a bit.

however, as synapz (alfala, d3nd3 and whoever else he's masquerading as) said, sometimes people around here like to hold on to these guys' willy a bit to long.  a little too fanatical for me.  that's all.

Time is relative.

Just because you have known about them for a long while, doesn't mean a newcomer can internalize your superior point of view. They are just discovering this for the first time. Its all great to them. You are explaining the doorway meaning of life and a way to experience it. What's their not to be fanatical about.

Frank and Tom Campbell are simply ideals to help lead people in the right direction.

They are the ones who sacrificed time to challenge powerful norm...and succeeded!

You don't need to agree with someone 100% to agree with them. This is the subjective. That's nearly impossible.

They are vanguards of our interest. And for that and their sacrifice, I say we should all hang onto their willy, even if we don't agree with them 100%
