hey there im new to AP (been trying/reading like crazy) for 2 weeks now and i notice im getting closer and closer as i refine my technique. i have a couple of quick questions that i'd appreciate if they could be answered...

I use 2 techniques (tho havent succeeded yet)
the rope technique and aslo the floating technique...
with the rope technique i get certain "vibrations" and my chakras pulse hardcore but i dont seem to go anywhere or hear any of these "noises"... whats happening here?

with the floating technique i can get into focus 10 quite quick and i start to feel the vibrations come on just by listening to the brainwave generator.. when i feel them i then imagine myself rising up endlessly... yesterday i got vibes i felt like i was begining to rise and hear noises like wind blowing... but then my gf banged on the door :/...  am i close?? how close?

The floating technique is a trance technique, as in 'getting into trance'- The rope technique is an exit technique and it should be used after you have exit symptoms or are fairly sure you're in the body asleep/mind awake stage.
If you use rope as a trance technique you'll train yourself not to exit with it, when the time comes.
I could be wrong but your post reads (to me) as if you're using rope to enter trance.

no no i use brainwave generator to get into the trance state always (or i just concentrate on that ringing in my head)... my body feels fully numb and like i cant move it then once i feel like im deep enough or i get small vibrations thats when i either use the rope or the "lift out" method.

before i realized how to get into a trance i would use rope straight away and that would get me into one but i could never exit... spose thats probly cos i'd already used up too much energy or something...

I realize that everyone is different but i only use rope when I get vibrations & heart chakra sensations.  If I have different exit symptoms, I use a different technique.
