Title: is there a difference between meditating and staying still at night to ap?

I am a bit confused because when i try to astral project i lay on my bed, hands to the side not moving and day dreaming. How is meditation diff?

You can use meditation for many other things than initiating a Projection.
But, yes... *ALL* conscious exit projection methods use some form of meditation to accomplish.

All of them.

You need meditation to project, but you don't need to project when you meditate.  If that makes sense.  :)

Meditation covers a lot of different methods .  There is also self hypnosis , there are some on you tube .
