Using stones to AP

Hi Lemming, I read in a book about cristals that according to the native american tradition the herkimer diamant is specially usefull for AP and lucid dreaming, it protects the user in the other realms. I did not tryit yet. Good luck

The other night i was having trouble getting into a trace state. But then i remember reading somewhere that amethyst improve mental concentration. So i got out my peice of amehtyst and put it right where my third eye chakra is, and it started to feel tingly in my forehead then about 5 to 8 minutes later i entered the trace state no problem, i got scared becuase my dad came up the stairs to say goodnight, and i couldn't get relaxed agian (my heart was pounding), but has anyone else had an experiance like this with a certian stone?
