Hypnagogia

The other night I was attempting to project. I went through some breath exercises energy movements etc and seemingly went into a hypnagogic state. i Started to see a blue wave of light that looked like some sort of spirit. I actually opened my eyes and saw it in a flash like way and then it disapeared. I then went back to that focus level and started seeing it swaying around again.. after that i did the same thing and could not see it no matter what i did.. Strange i think, however i was not projecting at the time. I am not sure what it is that is holding me back from projection. any comments to explain or define would be appreciated.

Hi, This is what I see when entering the hypnagogic state. Has been like this for years, although it's much more detailed and vivid now.

Then the next thing for me is usually the sleep state     But I keep trying and get lucky sometimes!
