Here is a great refresher video for old members and must watch for new members.

http://youtu.be/CBii06UyWwY

I have listened to it about 30 times and still I learn something new every time.

He talks about doing OBEs the normal way, but then he says until he learned to "Click out" quickly.

I have read his books and I know I read about that technique. But for some reason I can't remember it and I don't want to go back and read all those books again right now.

Does anyone know which book he speaks about this or even better still what his technique was? I wanted to compare notes with my own Phasing technique that I currently use.

Thank You!  :-)

It was Far Journeys.

"Far Journeys, 1985, Robert A Monroe

GRADE: 8.5

This book came several years after Monroe's first book. TMI has moved from Afton to Faber and is now well working with their Hemi-Sync techniques, which have improved and become well developed compared to the early 1970's. But the book doesn't provide as much info as I would have hoped by all those years of development. Parts of the Gateway Program are described.

A lot of detail concepts are described, like ROTE, CHEC, clicking-out, Time-Space-Illusion (TSI), M-Band noise, NVC, etc. The book explains how the Explorer Teams work and give several examples of direct explorations, but I would have liked a little more conclusions or perhaps explanations to what Monroe thinks has happened during those explorations. (Some of these early Explorer Team recordings can still be found on the TMI home page, but they are mostly without conclusions or interpretations from TMI.)

As for the method I don't know because I haven't read the last two properly.

 Thank You Bedeekin!  :-)

I just didn't want to read all his books again, that takes quite a while. Even though it is something good to do.

There's nothing wrong with "rehashing"!  :-)

Now, I'll just have to dust my "Far Journeys" off and reread it.

I appreciate this is an old thread but saw and wanted to comment.

Lion, I think you've got bobs phrases mixed up. The new type of OBE bob developed  in later years was the 'quick switch' method where he would stretch his consciousness like an elastic band.

A click out is  an unusual loss of consciousness when you think you are fine and suddenly it is the end of an exercise and it feels strangely timeless. It is conjecture that periods of unconscious healing take place during these click outs or simply that the information you are receiving at the time is way too much for the conscious brain to take in so you simply lose consciousness

Thank You for clarifying this.  :-)

What I experience is exactly what you have stated about the "click out". It's likely responsible for the "downloads" that I receive as well. I normally become conscious of these "downloads', just as they are finishing. Once in awhile I can see some strange lettering or hear some weird sounds/languages, but I haven't been able to figure out what they are. They must be coming to me at a higher level that only my subconscious mind can understand..

That sounds about right. Never been able to be conscious during a click out myself but I remember TMI trainer Joe Gallenberger discussing when he managed to remain vaguely conscious during a click out  and he too talked of a vast upload and download of information.

People tend to experience clicks out when they first start using hemi-sync. Personally, I always found when at TMI i would click out like a mofo whenever we did healing exercises. A normal click out I would become conscious as Bob would count you back from 10 but with the healing exercises I would be out til way after the exercise and come back feeling really good.

Omg I didn't realize this was a thing, I'm so glad you started this thread. I've done this numerous times and always looked at them as a failed ap attempt. Wow, confusion cloud just lifted a little more! Thank you all so much!!! I'll watch the video for sure now lol :-D

Just watched, priceless is the only word I can think of. He's an Einstein of our era. Love this, thanks for the link. Only bad thing is that I feel so inadequate after hearing of his journeys, all the knowledge he's obtained. And I'm worried about what beach to chill at.... I'm selfish, so selfish. My intent from now on is going to be nothing but LEARNING lol. I think my new affirmation should be I am Learning, I am Loving, & I am living!!!  If you have any more great clips of Monroe feel free to post them, cuz I'll watch them :-D

Yeah Bob was a very special guy but you really can't use him as a benchmark for your progress. That will just hold you back. Even noted people in the field today talk enviously of how lucid his experiences were.

If you want any additional info on TMi or hemi-sync then let me know. I am a facilitator for the Monroe Institute - Anything I can do to get word out there :)

I like your affirmation. Reminds me of Rosie McKnight - "I am light, manifesting in love, expressed in joy."

Thank You for mentioning this Floriferous. We really shouldn't ever "benchmark" anyone elses progress either.

I don't talk about many of my adventures because of this fact. I want people to have their own experiences and progress at a pace that is right for them.

We talk about Retrievals here once in awhile as well. I would like to go further with the discussions, but see that others are trying to duplicate experiences that we do.

I believe we go where we need to go and see what we need to see. My nightly affirmation that I do every night is solely based on this fact. I ask "To go where I need to go, to see what I need to see and to learn what I need to learn." Then I leave it up to my higher self to guide my way, with 100% confidence in tow.
