Mikel - My Spirit Guide or Negative Entity?

Hello Everyone, I have recently been very interested in contacting my Spirit guides and other helpers. I've been having a rough time in my life lately and I thought what better way to find "guidance" than from my Guide. lol

So I know a lot of people DONT believe in Sylvia Brown and all her stuff on tv and the books and how she is a fraud. I myself am NOT too fond of her either, BUT I do have her guided meditation CD for contacting your spirit guide and I actually quite like it because she describes the setting and environment and gives you the freedom to make this "place" the way your comfortable and safe. It seems to help me a lot with my visualizing.

Anyway, about 2 weeks ago I made contact with my "supposed" guide while listening to this cd, but when he walked down the 3 steps at the "gazebo" in the field and revealed himself he was "shifting" looks like 3 or 4 times after each step he took. I was confused, but then I guess he stuck with one look of a man, dark brown almost black hair, a short stubble/beard, ans he looked very friendly. I accepted that this was him and went on with my meditation.

Well when it comes to the point where you ask their name, I got 3 different variations of names that sound alike. Mike, Michael, and Migel....I told him I would just sort of MIX them into a name and call him Mikel. Pronounced (Meek - EL)

We then went on down the path and were supposed to ask them a simple question that would yeild a shirt answer. (Since I've lost my job and been trying to find a new one, I asked him WHERE I should work) and he told me something that I did NOT agree with at all. He said "JC Penny's" Yeah, like the retail store! if youve ever heard of it. I dont know WHY he told me that, because I hate retail, and would never want to work at that place. lol

Anyways, fast forward to the next few days after my meditation and for about a week after I met him and he HUGGED ME, I felt drained of energy, exhausted, irritable, grumpy, and lonely. I dont know about all of YOU, but arent you supposed to feel uplifted and refreshed and full of HOPE after meeting your guide???

I finally was on the brink of complete breakdown one night laying in bed and I told him out loud "Mikel! LEAVE ME ALONE, stay away, your NOT my guide, GO!"

The next day I felt more relieved and in a better mood.

Now Im confused and contemplating whether or not I should attempt to contact my REAL guide again and IF SO, how do I know Mikel wasnt actually my guide and I hurt him or what if he really did leave and now Im stuck with just a few helpers or something?

Did this happen to anyone else?

I doubt you could hurt your guide's feelings. But you should trust your own, and if it really is your guide, he will respect that wish. If JC Penny's doesn't seem right to your gut instinct, don't do it.

Personally, my gut instinct never steers me wrong. I consider it communication with a more intuitive part of myself. I suppose it's not as nice as hearing a comforting voice followed by a hug, but it does the job and is always trustworthy.

Wow very interesting. I am actually in almost the same dilemma. Funny because he looks awfully like the guy I have been seeing lately. He has dark, almost black hair (long it seems but sort of pulled back) with a goatee. I cannot tell if he is "good" or "bad". He seems very joker/trickster like though. Funny that he said JC Penny because I used to work there during holiday season last year. And honestly, it was one of my favorite jobs. So dont be so quick to judge Pennys haha!

But seriously. About a week ago I was taking a  nap when all of a sudden I start seeing faces in the void. (I've been coming across this a lot lately.. lots of faces and peering eyes, anyone else??) I could feel entities around my body, some of them seemed to be massaging my head and forehead in circular patterns (again this is also a new and frequent thing as of late). This would somehow cause my headspace to sort of flap open? I first became aware of an old man, white long hair and beard, in a red cloak. He was teaching or explaining something to someone/me?  who was sitting across from him at a table. Then a jesus-like figure appears with his palms in prayer position at his heart. He opens his palms to me. Then a younger looking jesus rebel? with dark hair and eyes and beard (the one I described in the beginning) He took the center stage it seemed. He looked very serious and intent on watching me and then at times he was playful. Almost seems Middle Eastern or from medieval times. He laughed a lot. I think in part to some of my thoughts... I was so uncertain as to who he was and what his intentions were. For awhile, he seemed to be just enjoying my attention. He was doing backflips and all sorts of random moves. He even had something in his hand that he was spinning around, it looked like a string? with a triangle (portal?) at the end. Being very entertaining but when I mentally asked him who he was, he directed my attention to a mirror. I watched his hand move and point to the mirror and when I gazed into the mirror (note this is all in the void) I saw his reflection staring back at me? So here I got a little confused. Did that mean he was apart of me and I him? Or we are one?

Then it gets a little creepy here. At some point my "headspace" starts to suck up everything in a slow, vaccuum like fashion, and this man's body gets partially sucked into my head, with half of his body it seems, dangling out. IT looked as if he was struggling, or saying "No!!!" as he got pulled back inwards. I dont remember if he got pulled all the way in or what but I basically just sat up and said "WTF".


I was gonna do this in seperate post but ahh, I am in the same predicament. I just can't put my finger on this one. Does anyone have any thoughts?

Hey Leilah, thanks for telling me that. I hoped that someone else had a similar problem. I tried to find a pic online that looked at least "close" to what MIKEL looked like. The guy in the pic below doesnt have as much stubble (facial hair) as Mikel did during my meditation, but for the "overall" look its pretty close. He even dressed very causual in a t-shirt, jacket, and jeans type of look as well.

So is this kind of what the being you saw looked like?

Im going to attempt to contact my guide once I project OOB so that Ill be more sure its them Im seeing and not just mixed images in my head during a meditation.

Whatever "Mikel" is, I do not think it is a guide. Your guide wont make you feel the way you did.

I agree with you guides aren't supposed to do bad things.

Maybe he is a lonely soul or something like that.Most of the people who suicide can't go to the next step in the purification of the soul.They are banished and must stay in the etheric plane.Some of them are really violent, others just creepy.

I dont know, maybe. The house I live in is almost 100 years old so there could be a possibility that someone died here. but I stopped feeling bad after I yelled at him to go away. I think he was just draining the energy from my etheric body. I was meditating a lot during that week and had an abundance of stored energy in me, so no wonder it would attract someone like him. lol

Though I had an unusual experience the other day. Even though my official guide has not come up to the plate to meet me, I was attempting to AP the other night and my body went numb and I was just focusing on my breathing, letting my thoughts wander and just drift off. but then when I felt I was deep enough in the trance I asked (in my head) "Spirit Guide, Help me leave my body"...as soon as I said that, my awareness shifted and I felt the "click" and the little flash of light you get behind your eyelids. my arms and feet started tingling, but after about 30 seconds my lucidity came back, the tingling stopped, and I was back at square one. by then I was tired and just went to bed. but I thought it was pretty cool how that happened when I ASKED for help. I guess my guide/helpers are just watching from a distance and wont meet me until im out of body. lol

  Ok, why does this guy look familiar?  And I don't mean he's my guide!  TV show or something.. must know or it will drive me crazy all day.
