This is a guided self hypnosis tape for inner travel. The trance that you achieve with this is the astral projection or phasing trance. You don't have to focus on any technique. If you relax and pay attention it will work to help you phase out of physical.

I just found the tape. I did a couple others and they seem to be pretty good, using the right language and techniques.  You should probably do this sitting or in a recliner. He's very slow with induction and you'll fall asleep if you are not used to it.

So often I have a question or am looking for some material for astral projection I come here and there is new thread on the topic. That's intent for you I suppose. Thanks Bluefirephoenix, I'll try this one out. Did you ever have any success with the self created hypnosis tapes?

I'll probably be working on that in the next year or so. Right now I'm more focused on CRV, but hypnosis was  bought to my attention when I went to a workshop in July. Once I finish my CRV certification I want to get into more depth with it.  One issue that I've run into is that you need pretty good recording equipment. I don't have good microphones and the end result sounded like Darth Vador talking with Liquid mind in the background. The hypnotherepist at the conference told me basically what to look for. I did check the UTube tape for any major problems.

Now at the last group session I went to yesterday. I found I was phase out by more than 50%.  There was almost no body awareness at some points. This sessions were not even geared towards astral projection so I spoke to hypnotist about it and he said it was fairly common to OBE while in session. I think the focus on someone's voice allows a deeper trance and keeps you from falling asleep. The result is a more stable and deeper trance. Once you practice with the tape you can do the same thing without it. There's really nothing magical about the tape and once you know what to do it's not too hard as long as your not laying down. I sit up completely or recline if I'm not too sleepy.  If I practice at night I don't really expect too much and just enjoy the different states I can attain.
