Title: MP3s of GATEWAY - Copying files
Post by: KP on May 28, 2003, 07:44:08
I have used MP3 copies of hemi-sync in the past, they were encoded at 192kbs and they worked great.

I don't think those CDs are worth the money anymore.  The BWgen program is just as good and there's no sudden commands being blurted at you - Monroe used to make me jump a lot.

I agree with KP that with the Wave I cds, the intermittant voice would also make me jump. What I did was to download the Brainwave Generator and the tommy's vibration starter preset. However, for a little while now I've been using the cd from awakened minds with good results.

There is a website with the following link:

http://www.awakenedminds.com/

They sell a single cd for about $35.00. It has nobody talking on it, all you hear is the sound of "gentle rainfall", and they claim that their product delivers better than holo or hemi sync. Take a look at their comparison page where they compare their product to the others.

Both hemi and holo-sync cost a lot of money. The comparison chart on the awakened minds website, along with the low cost and some positive comments at Bruce Moen's website, sold me on the awakened minds cd.

Very best,

I noticed in a couple of posts, people are keen to get their hands on MP3's of the series.

I've just spent £65 on Wave 1 and maybe I'm just bitter :) but I don't think copying these CDs is on really - although I agree they are pricey for many people.

Another thing crossed my mind though - what about sound degredation ?

MP3's must be really high quality not to degregate and most 'songs' I download get 128/256kbs - I just wondered if anyone knew if the copying would effect the Hemisync soundwaves themselves.

Personally it's something I would not want to risk and although I have tons of MP3s of music (I'm such a hyprocrite) I would never 'skimp' on something this important. My experience is like this - I download 'songs', if I like a couple I buy the album. Maybe try and download Wave 1 Discovery 1 and then start to buy the set - you'll feel much better for it (and probably won't have to put 'piracy' in your container box) :)

No offence to anyone - just my opinion.

by the way : If you in the UK and looking for Hemi-Synch products, call these guys for the cheapest quote - really fast mail order as well and friendly 'family' base - http://www.hemi-sync.biz/ - tell them I recommended you.
