Title: My first experience
Post by: mr mumble on June 09, 2010, 01:16:37
Last night I tried AP for the first time,I used the rope method. After a few minutes I felt small vibrations and a tingle in my head. I then stopped because I just wanted to experience pre-projection at the time, I plan to try actual AP soon. Any tips are welcome.

Welcome to the forum, mr mumble.  :)

It sounds like your first experience was pretty good.
I look forward to reading about your coming experiences.  :)

you sound exactly like me, I'll get to a shift in self and then be satisfied with it and come out of it. It's like I don't want to forget the success of the experience. I don't think it has anything to do with fear, but at some point yeah.. need to just flow with it, rather sooner than later.

Well, there's definitely something to say for ending an experience prematurely so you can remember it!
Makes it easier to write it down.  :)

it also makes you feel like you stopped when you could have gone farther, so it builds a minigoal afterwards by doing so, to reach even farther than the last time. I think these small steps taken are important then, more so than the giant leaping others often try to take.

Congrats on the vibrations. If you keep working at it you may find yourself in another dimension.
