My (STRANGEST) Experience

Yesterday as I was doing chem hw I began thinking back on my non-physical activities.. and how they have been diminishing the past month. I thought about the focus levels and how just a few weeks ago I was so eager to "reach" them.

It was 2:48AM and I decided to head for bed. My plan for the night.. or morning actually.. was to just try and watch my thoughts as I fell (and I was falling fast) asleep.  This was a different approach for me and at the time I really didn't care what was going to happen. I placed that on.. what was meant to be I guess.

Anyway.. I started drifting away. I zonked out for probably about 15-20 minutes (how I know this, I don't, it just felt like it). Then, I awaken to what seems like the vibrational stage.. the only difference being that I didn't really experience any normal vibrations.

Instead, what I awakened to was the weirdest sensations ever. The only possible way I can even try to describe it -is that it felt like I was awake while my brain was doing its "job", and that well, I was aware of every feeling going on within my brain. It felt jiggly, kind of heavy, and just felt like something was going on in there. THEN - I start to feel this .. buzzing/twitching area in the frontal lobe and the pineal(?) gland crossed my mind. My eyes felt weird too. THEN - I felt.. jeez how do I explain this.. like invisible.. rolly balls/hands massaging my upper back/neck.

Eventually, it all subsided(after what felt like an hour) and I was seeing through closed eyelids. I lifted up and out of body and came back in. I remember thinking to myself, well why don't I try phasing while I'm in this state.. wonder what would happen..

It was at this thought, that I traveled backwards in the blackness of my mind. As I was descending, who knows where to, I was hearing people's laughter - at least 5. Finally I reached bottom where I was with the people laughing. There were no bodies present, just like.. presences laughing. And from that point on I can't remember anything else. (except for the fact that I had two false awakenings after)

Well. There it is. I'm not really sure what the hell that was but it freaked me out. Why? Well one -I never read or heard about those type of sensations or experiences and two-it took me by complete surprise.

Opinions, etc. are welcome.

Thanks,

Leilah

Hi,

I don't experience too many sensations while sleeping, but I try to go out of body while awake by gently asking my soul to leave my body.  I have felt a lot of different sensations (magnetic pulling sensations on my body, a part of me (my soul?) bumping up against my body frame and being jostled around, shaking almost like mild convulsions, and a lifting up my head and chest areas and then a settling down as my soul exits, thunder like sounds, sinking feeling, floating feeling, energy or some part of me pouring out of my head and other areas of my physical body, energy chakras opening up, etc.).

That's interesting. I've felt all sorts of weird sensations but none like these. I'm starting to wonder if I had a seizure. Maybe not. I don't know.

eh... I just realized maybe this topic should be in astral experiences......

Quite interesting, i just woke up from having an interesting "vibes" experience.

i became aware in the vibrational stage sometime while i was napping this morning. it scared the crap out of me even though ive "been there" before.

anyway i decided to use the chance to do some experimentation. Heres what i felt like- STRONG vibrations, lots of shaking. I heard the wooshing sound that some people report. If i relaxed the vibes became much stronger and the wooshing would become much louder. I found that i could "leave" my body fairly easily in this state. I flew up and out a couple times to make sure. it was quite easy to do this, all i had to do was relax a bit and let the vibrations take over. i then wished myself out of my body and out i went.

Let me be the first to say you DIDNT have a seizure. You ARE going to encounter strange sensations and other new experiences. If you dont want this, phasing is not for you. I realize how hard it is to ignore all the sensations but if you can let go of your fear you will be fine.

good luck,

ben

Ben K,

I used to always hear the whooshing sound, or as I like to call it, "the sticking your head out of a car window while driving" sound, when I first started going OB. I agree with you on the vibes, they can definitely getcha when your offgaurd.

Besides that, your probably right. I didn't have a seizure. That was just my rational mind butting in with some logical explanation as to what the hell was going on inside my brain.

And as for phasing.. I'm still somewhat of an amateur. I've had a few neat experiences while phasing but I guess I never expected they could be this far out. And since your implying that they do, then I am in for a ride... because I AM NOT getting off anytime soon.
