Has anyone here experimented much with dietary supplements in their phasing and/or OBE work?  I know the most popular perception is that they are used primarily for lucid dreaming.  I've a bit and can say I've had mixed results but almost always have an experience of some kind.  For me they tend to induce the OBE state every time.  Granted I've experienced traditional OBEs off and on most of my life without drugs of any kind, but that's what the supplements seem to do for me in addition to vivid/lucid dreams.  Though I should again add I tend to have such experiences without dietary aid.

I'm currently experimenting with ways to include this into my phasing work.  I can go into more details if anyone is interested.

I used to use galantamine/choline quite often and it does work really well for OBE. It only ever worked for me when taken after a few hours sleep though. I find it produces very vivid experiences, which can sometimes become a bit disturbing and nightmarish because of their intensity.
I found melatonin to be pretty effective too, if taken late at night. Nicotine, on its own or in combination with any of the above is also great for OBE and/or lucid dreaming.
I'm trying to develop my OBE skills conventionally at present so I don't use these things any more. They are very effective though and can be a great shortcut for people who have been trying unsuccessfully for a long time to have their first OBE/lucid.
There's a good book available on this subject if anyone's interested. It's called "Advanced lucid dreaming: The power of supplements" by Thomas Yuschak.
