Hey, I'm new here and just figured I would ask a question.

I'd looked into Astral Projection a bit before hand but never really tried it. I did manage to achieve success in Dream Recall which wasnt very hard at all, so I'm guessing that was really just beginner type stuff.

Anyway one night I was laying in bed not thinking of anything, didn't even have Astral Projection on my mind. I was listening to Lateralus (the song) by Tool (I dont know everyone else's opinion on them but that was just the song I was listening to at the time lol) So anyway, the song (if you dont know) is about transcendance (sp?) and I really started to concentrate on what would have been possible had I transcended to the next level of consciousness.

All of the sudden my body starts to feel like it's on fire. But it's a calming fire. My body temperature increased greatly, but I wasnt sweating. My muscles randomly pulsated (mildly lol) and I felt strange. But before I knew it, I was opening my eyes and it was the next day.

So my question is, what was that all about? What happened? Was I at least TOUCHING on ANYTHING remotly close to Astral Projection, was I just too absorbed into the song?

Any input is appreciated

Tool is my favorite band, along with radiohead!  But nothing like that has happened to me while listening to lateralus.  Cool experience.
