Ok, I am having trouble figuring out what the vibrations are supposed to feel like.  I have almost been out of my body one time one day when I wasnt even trying and before I knew what astral projections were and when it happend I felt myself rising up and I was like "Cool, I'm going to see how far I can get and see if I can fly".  I wasnt scared like most other people were when they first do it.  Now, when I try to do it, all of my body is wanting to jerk around and I feel really terrible sometimes like I am about to die or something.  Is that what it is supposed to feel like?

Its like a gentle buzz I hear in my ear then vibrations that spread through my whole body.

Nothing scary, its supposed to be gentle.

How to get an OBE? Expanded conscious? Lucid Dream?

1. Sit very still. Relaxation, lay in an upright position (120-130 degree obtuse). Get a calm awareness of self. Awareness of self is everything.

2. Breathing, Pot Belly technique: Breath to where your gut comes out to form a pot. Or in other words, breath and expand your lower lungs, which in turn expands your abdomen. Breath naturally.

3. Focus of self, leads to focus of who you really are which is something beyond your body, which is merely a mechanical tool for your conscious.

4. Think of how you think, then slow it down. Analyze your mind.

5. Imagine you are in a pleasant soothing environment, When you breath imagine, a light or a soothing pleasant color that sweeps from your feet to your head. Then When you exhale imagine ANOTHER color sweeping from head to toes. (white-blue works good). Imagine this very vividly, very real. Feel the cool air, and the fresh colors. Smell its scent. Feel its refreshment. Imagine your body gently swaying like a wave when you breath, imagine you are floating on air.

6. Keep it VIVID and real, keep the breathing and visualization in perfect sync, keep it going, and keep a relaxed focus on it. FOCUS COMPLETELY ON THIS SYNC OF BREATH AND VISUALIZATION.

7. You may see some flying or flashing color, maybe some memories loosening. This is where its the brink of losing it. You will notice your body doesnt even exist, you are so focused on this visualization. Then a gentle buzz in the ears and vibes in the body will happen. Then You will becomes out of the body. Explore the astral world, examine the environment.

8. Trying too hard is what causes most failure with OBEs, it needs to be natural. Remember expect nothing, want nothing. Expect nothing, but be ready for anything. Mimic sleep. Notice when you sleep you are not trying hard to sleep, you just kind of let go.

9. If you are in an OBE, an are having problems. Remember that the OBE is your world, you can ask for help from God or someone else. You can use "commands" Demand clarity, demand what you need in the OBE. Nothing can hurt you in an OBE everyone is equal to you, no matter how they look.
