Would our higher self let us force something, which could possibly drive us

Im 32 now, and till about 24, every night when i got to bed, i imagined things
before i fell asleep... like beeing superman and flying around. That was real fun,
and my imagination was superb. And then, suddenly, it stopped. I thought maybe
it depends somehow on my 3rd eye, which may have closed a bit more then i´d like it to.
But i assume theres no technique to open the 3rd eye just so that it fits your needs :)
