I tried it, it was very relaxing and helped me to fall asleep. I didnt have one o.b.e. during the time I used it, which was about every day for 2 weeks. Usually I don't need or use such props but I was going through a "dry spell" and thought it would help me out. I find that it is great when you need to hear that white noise to shut out the sounds of noisy roommates so you can get some sleep! I didnt experiment with any custom presets, just played around with the ones included in the free download.

I think BWGEN is great.

I originally set out to meditate without any aids but living next to an airport doesnt provide the greatest environment (Kinda ironic too). I know they say that if you persist, eventually you'll be able to block out the noise and become adept at meditating in noises environments. But i'm a little bit of an impatient guy. I'm injected with so much enthuiasm towards AP, and meditation that i wanted results sooner, rather than later.

This is when i found BWGEN. And right from the very first try it did it's job. Getting me into a trance state (I think i was using the Deep Meditation preset).

Along with BEGEN i also used a calming technique dubbed 'Mind Awake, Body Asleep' to learn this technique go here - http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=5205

Maybe if you try coupling the two of them together you'll have better luck. I know it certainly works for me.

I don't wish to remain dependant on BWGEN and my plan is to ween myself off it eventually. But as far as my opinion goes, it's a great tool to help if your haveing diffculties.

Cheers,

Mo!

Hi everybody! [:)]
Finally I've found the time (and also the will...what a lazy guy am I [;)]) to post in this beautiful message board!
As the topic says, I'm here seeking for your experiences using Bwgen...but let's start from the beginning!
For about one month I've tried this very peculiar software with, unfortunatly, no remarkable effects...I've tried many presets but nothing seemed to happen...
Now I'm back, desiring to know if you've attained some kind of results or if you're in my same situation. [?]
For those who had tried with success: have you used some particular combination of different presets or you've just listened to a particular one for a long time?
Please answer me if you can!
Of course this become a "bwgen diary" were everyone is invited to put his/her own experiences! [;)]
Regards,

Havok
