When you do a OBE, sometimes can just part of your body be out while the rest in?

This happened to me, took a nap, "woke" up, and felt my legs 'hoping' off the floor.

Also, one time I got my eyes to see the astral, and every thing was "foggy," like when Teal'c used a Sodan cloaking device on that one Star Gate SG-1 episode.

yes it is very possible that some parts of your astral body seem to get stuck in your physical body.  This is because that part of your astral body does not have enough energy to get out.  Try chakra energizing techniques for that part of the body.

Oh WOW! So I did have somewhat of a OBE:)

Also, would having something that has Astral Projection, say a piece of paper with the words "Astral Projection," help?

Only asking that because the experience I described on the first post, I had the "Astral Projection For Beginners" on the desk next to me.

Thanks for answering my question.

it seems that the more you have your mind set for astral projection the better the chance for a spontaneous AP. Robert bruce (my AP-"guru") recommends to do a bit of astral projection reading before going to sleep - you could also say "I am going to astral project" continously in your mind when going to sleep to encourage a spontaneous AP.
