Does a vivid imagination jumpstart the Phasing/OBE process? What is imagination to you? I have recently had this incredibly strange phenomenon occurring. It start when I was having some back pain once before taking a shower. During the shower I closed my eyes and created an instant waterfall scene (water for healing). I imagined seeing the water that was coming down form the shower head as actually coming down from a waterfall. In this scene I am standing in about 4 feet of water as the waterfall splashes down upon my head and back. I have done this for the last week now, incredibly vivid imagery. Yesterday when I was in the shower I closed my eyes, the scene that was there was the waterfall, but then it opened to me standing on a cliff and watching the waterfall under me. Then there was a huge bottomless pit in front of me, with the water falling down the walls. In today's shower adventure I closed my eyes expecting to see my waterfall, but now I was in an underwater cave and there was a red row boat with some people in in, they were paddling forward towards a triangular rocky opening that was the exit from the cave. In the last 2 days I haven't created these scenes, they were just there. Now I notice anytime I close my eyes I see all kinds of scenery, trees, mountains, clouds etc. but they are all around me like I am in the center. These I haven't consciously created as well. It started out a week ago as being something I have created, but now it's like it has been hijacked. I am not consciously creating any of these scenes now. I am also experiencing the most incredible vivid Phasing Sessions I have ever had. Have I moved up a level? Is this what happens to people that Phase regularly? If so, all people that are committed to Phasing regularly are definitely in for a treat.

We call what you're doing a mental rundown.

Using your imagination is a big part of projecting.  It *can* be a big part of meditation as well.
Frank, and many others, consider the "Imagination" to be the in the non-physical... so using your imagination to create a scene, in your case the waterfall, to push your mind there is a great way to project.  Eventually, as you're running through the rundown you'll notice that for brief seconds at a time, you ARE there.  :)

I get something like this quite often as well. I may have the intention of imagining something very definite, but as I start into it something unexpected and surprising may pop up. I think that the more we use our imagination, especially as a tool for phasing, the more vivid and clear and alive our imagination becomes, and things we could never "imagine" become possibilities.

Steiner stressed developing the 3 "I's" when it comes to spiritual development: Imagination, Intuition, and Inspiration. William Blake was onto that as well.

Thank you, yes, that's the kind of phenomenon I'm talking about when I say 'phantasy'.  It manifests, it becomes a reality.  All the more reason to guard against dark possibility.

There is a complication with imagination... depending on your level of awareness and sheer capacity for force, you can create any kind of reality you want.  It only requires dedication and building your intensity.  On realizing this, one might think, 'well this is infinite power', and be drawn into the realm of delusional self aggrandizing fake righteousness.  You have to keep in mind, as this nice person has verified, that the fantasy is also a capacity of other living things.  A term such as cosmic can then be better understood and applied to the intensity of our own base plane, said to be a Universal Plane.

Using your imagination is the key.  It is like developing some form of clairvoyancy, and then sustaining a three dimensional mind rather than a two or two point five dimensional thought process.  As you expand your consciousness, more realms of reality become accessible.  The only problem is how far does the fantasy become reality?  To death of the physical organism?  Is it really an Omniversal Potential?

So the question is, does imagination create reality?
Some say that our thoughts create reality.  So what about our own memories?  What about our sense of taste, our sight, and our touch?
It does seem that there are several types of mental dimensions.  Perhaps holding a clear mind for a long period can also recreate reality.  In that, light and dark or good and evil do not apply.  There is only intelligence and love.

Seems to be so!  Thanks for sharing.  I know that when I go walking, I sometimes imagine that I'm flying with wings.  Shortly after, yes, 'smoke demons' start to appear.  So I don't know, maybe it's all psychotic and alive, just vibrating at any level that it wants too.  Unlimited spatial dimension, infinite temporal energy... perhaps silence and stasis are the only option that can diminish or negate a dark reality.
