Well,
first of all
the method is very similar if not the same. (reaching the hypnogogic state and then entering one of the scenes when it becomes strong enough)
Correct me at any point if i am mistaken.
Also,
Ive read in ultimate reality that every time you sleep you unconsciously project to the astral planes.
so another question will be, if you have a lucid dream, supposing that you are conscious, provided by this information, astral projecting and lucid dreaming will be the same thing.
i think ive got something wrong
could someone be nice enough to explain?
No, you're right. Phasing and WILD are the same technique.
The only difference is of perception. Technically, the idea is the astral has personal and collective 'places', and it depends 'where' you 'land'- you can call it a dream or the astral, but they're both projections.
in that case
what is the difference between astral projecting and lucid dreaming?
How you exit and 'where' you land.
morning before last I awoke in the vibrational state, fully conscious. I have left my body before from this state but only for very short periods of time and with limited clarity/control. this tiem though I decided to project far from my body in order to become more lucid. I mentally stated that I wanted to project to my grandparents front lawn (about 60 miles from my house) I pictured the scenario and opened my astral/dream eyes and there I was. then I decided I was going to fly and got a running start and took off from the ground flying with semi-control above my grandparents house. The event rather quickly became more of what seemed to be a dream whereas I started to lose consciousness of what i was doing and things just started happening (for one an anti-gravity type thing appeared on my back and my brother appeared and I was taunting him about being able to fly) and soon I fully lost conscious control of anything and shortly afterwards woke up. what would this experience be classified as, LD or AP, or maybe a little of both????
are you the one in control of where you land/how you exit? if so, how do u do it
