shifting would be to redirect the flow into a different pattern, that was extremely confusing for me though, but i understand your idea of recycling the energy through ur body over and over again, try to get it to flow into your surrounding and back into you so you connect, its easier to project if you have energy expanded far from your body.

I'm not sure what to make of it all, either the guy is a genius or a complete raving loon. Probably both. There's a cool java animation of one of these hearts rotating through its twist on that site somewhere but I can't find it.

The exact method is not important, just make the flow uninterrupted. After you build the REBAL by imagination, let its existence be fact for you without any thinking about it.

The building energy of REBAL comes from the point beetween the navel and your moron (many call it anus). If you feel you are reside in your head, you could inhale the energy from below until it reach your head, then move the energy upward like a fountain as you breathing out, complete the flow by one slow, continous breath.

Your picture seems perfect. I think, the REBAL is the thoroidal flow which envelope your bioplasm/etheric body. This kind of flow can be observed in the magnetospheres of celestial objects, and presumably other 3D, conscious, self-regulating systems. Adjustment your body along nort-south axis is supposed to help you to build up and stabilize your REBAL.

Thank you very much for your pics. Yes, I always feel the vibration sensation, especially sit and when my naked feet touch the floor. I can perceive the vivid flow go and come through my feet, but still hard to feel the flow out of the top of my head.

Is it natural to feel the vibration when not listening CD or meditation, I can feel the strong vibration even watching TV or surfing the Internet?

Just pretend the flow until it became real in your mind. Your vibrations seems a good progress to me, however make me remember even more to the first impact one would get when raising energy through the legs. Perhaps your feelings are more connected to an another flow, not thoroidal but circular in nature, closer to your biological substance (flow in the connective tissue planes called meridians). But my stereotype mind suspect, that you, chinese guys should know about these things more than anyone else. I'm talking about the microcosmic orbit, the direction of first blood and chi flow around the embryo. I tend to think on REBAL, that its feelings should have lesser concretism, more imagined.

Good suggestion, yes perhaps I way too care about "the other flow", let me practice...  By the way, not all Chinese know about the chi, this kinda stuff now only live in martial art novels or movies, in real life, there are very few people, say only 1 out of 100,000 chinese people have chance to get around to it...

Since English is not my native language, I always wonder how to build a REBAL. Both at Gateway Experience Manual, and the WAVE I #3, read as "Create a flow pattern with your breath by letting energy flow out of the top or your head like a fountain, allowing it to continue flowing gently down and around you, and then reentering your body, through the bottoms of your feet. Then shift the flow pattern into a spiral, winding the energy down around you and coiling it back up inside you."

My questions are:
A. Step 1 seems to inhale the freshing energy, then
(1) hold, or
(2) continue inhale
in order to let it "up to my head"?
-- which one is correct? or others?

B. Then "reentering my body through my feet" is by
(1) still hold breath, or
(2) inhale, or
(3) just imagine, whether my breath states.
-- which one is correct? or others?

C. Still don't understand the wording "Then shift the flow pattern into a spiral, winding the energy down around you and coiling it back up inside you"
- Does anyone of you have more specific ways to share with me? I think a graph/picture is better to understand it.

D. I googled one image file from http://users.rcn.com/zap.dnai/ftp/pictures/rebal.gif ,does it make sense or not?
