rolling method to AP

ive been trying to just float out of my body, i think its safer becuase i have junk all over my floor and if im still physical and roll off my bed im going to have a really big booboo

yea my room may be carpeted, but lets just say i gotta pick up my room tomorrow or else ill get a boo boo anyways.  but still need a good explanation on the rolling thing please.

i think i just found a better way, when im in the trance part i force my astral body to slide out of my normal body through the feet. So far is the best results ive gotten all day

Personaly, when I "roll out", I don't really try to move; I just will it and the result is that my body moves out.  Also many times there was some kind of wind/current that would blow me (from the side) out of my body...

ok i understand what you mean about the roll out technique.  maybe if i get into a trance tonite and not falling asleep like last nite, then ill try that out.  hope i finally have a successful projection

The rolling technique as it is done.

Once you are in trance and you have vibes etc.  You feel the rush, the wind, you're for sure ready to slip out into the astral you try and physically roll.  If you are indeed in your astral body you will roll out and glide or float or whatever.  But if you are in the physical and just think you are in your astral body, then you are rolling onto the floor, ouch, a boo boo is inevitable.  The cruz is being able to discern which body you are in.  I think I'd know if I was wearing a tuxedo or pair of jeans, but it's not that easy.  This is how it has been explained to me through various reading, and other people.  I've tried rolling and it's done nothing for me except break my trance by being a dumbass and rolling into my night table.  LOL  I would suggest trying another method like floating straight up.  There are tons of methods on "how to get out" but none of them are really on how to get out.  Once you have gone through, relaxation, mind awake, body asleep, trance, vibes, whoosing, metallic snap etc etc etc etc etc, you are in your astral body, at which point you try and exit technique.  which can be rolling out, or floating, or spinning, or making another body out of astral goo and shifting in, or choosing a point 8 feet away in which to manifest.  But to keep it simple I would try the floating up, just try to float, float float, if you do you will know it. AND it won't break your trance completely, it is much easier to deal with the thought or concept of float or visualization of rising, floating, than it is to deal with your face buried in a pile of dirty shirts.  ;)  Best of luck.

I am probably biased about this because my first projection was by rolling out.  Happened purely by accident as I was uncomfortable lying on my back and had been practicing about 40 minutes, was completely relaxed, and finally just gave up on trying to AP so I rolled over onto my left side to go to sleep and immediately found my self in the Astral.  You should start your practice in the standard lying on back position, you must be completely relaxed and be having all the normal pre-exit sensations that you are used to feeling and then just roll over and out.  If you have a narrow bed then start over on one side so you won't fall on the floor.  If you have gone through all the preparations and give it a try you will probably feel that you are moving with your physical body but if all goes well you won't be. Hope this helps a bit.

ok now i have a very great idea about the roll out technique and know that as from what people say it feels like physically moving my body.  well im gonna take Jeff's advice and feel myself as one of the cars. (if u dont understand what im talkin about then check the topic Nay posted up with the link).  i hope i have success tonite.

Ive heard many places on this forum where people will say they would roll out of their body to AP.  the thing i dont understand is that when people say they roll out of their body, are they rolling mentally and just end up out, or roll out by actually moving as if physically moving but just so that you separate?  just wanna know so i could possibly try it if i feel that i am ready to project and that will cause me to project.
