Lately I've heard many people talking about the negatives of astral projecting. Mainly about hallucinations and all sorts of things. It doesn't worry me to the point of being scared but it is something I think about. My parents (who have experience in astral projecting) tell me their is nothing to be afraid of and that they have never had a negative experience. Is this the norm?

Your parents seem very positive, which makes it easy to believe that they have never had any negative experiences.

I'm not going to lie to you though. I've had some amazing experiences as well extremely frightening experiences. In the end though, you will always have the power to change how things are going for you.

I wish you strength and courage!!!  :-)

There's nothing to fear, you'll learn lots of things in the Astral. This is also a good chance to AP (Astral Project) with your parents!

Have fun!

I've had some negative experiences, but they were all for the better.  They all helped me mature more in my astral travels.  I was taught a very important lesson that if something bad happens it is only so something good can happen later on.  Take that to heart and go in fearless.

wow, i'm jealous! your 'rents know about this!     mine asked if i was on drugs :D

but keep in mind, YOU CAN'T BE HURT!!! only scared senseless...it happens(apparently). if a "demon" comes at you...just laugh and walk away.

Only because others were scared, it doesn't mean that you will be as well. Energies attract. So fear might attrakt the fearful. Could overcoming fears make one invinceable? Enjoy.

I had some astral experiences and none negative so far. The only weird thing i can recall is seeing a shapeless figure in my room while i was separated but still in my body (could move my astral hands but i was still in my physical body).
Though this seems like something that should have scared me, i remember feeling no fear at all and even laying my hands towards whatever it was.

Most people say that you can't be hurt but i believe (not from experience though) that you can indeed be hurt and i don't mean physically ofcourse. If a person ends up having severe psychological problems, fear of going to sleep or whatever, because of frightening experiences in the astral, sounds pretty hurt to me....
