Just thought of something to clear any stress.

Does anybody else do this? All you need is notepad or even a piece of paper and a pencil or something.

I have a situation I am going through with a friend and it's been stressing me out a bit... But I am not sure why. Well I decided to open up notepad and just jot down everything relating to the situation. You can save it too. I might save mine if I start to wonder why I am being stressed about the situation again etc... Then I can go back to the notepad and re read to soak it all in. Basically I just jot everything down. Kinda like you are taking notes... It doesn't have to be neat or anything. It kinda helps me solve problems if I can look at something and review it all at once is kinda what I am getting to. I don't know it felt goofy to do this but... If it helps me why not? :-D I was just curious if anyone else does this. It's just a good way to effectively clear any problems away I may have on my mind... I try not to have to many anymore...  8-)

Writing things down helps you look at your thoughts more objectively without getting caught up in the emotions as much. I still do a little bit of journaling. At the end of everyday I write down 3 things of gratitude (that I've never used on previous days) and I follow that up with my "positive experience of the day". Doing this helps me focus on the positive things in my life that I sometimes take for granted. There's good stuff everyday, sometimes you just have to remind yourself.

Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. Stress often has to do with not being sure what we're stressed out about and writing it down helps.
