Strange experience

I had a strange experience last night.
I was just about asleep, unless I was just consciously asleep which is what it felt like, when I saw a bright flash of light in my closed eyelids and for a second everything seemed to get louder.

I'm almost positive it wasn't my astral body slamming back into my physical body because I know what that feels like it was not that.

I would say this sounds like the early stages of the phasing process. Keep up with the 'noticing' exercise and see where it leads you.
