Teleportation?

From what I've heard, if its possible at all it is very hard. I believe you have to go to the place you want to teleport to, and just concentrate on it. Perhaps it may be effective if you turned it into a magickal ritual?

problem is, if you are teleporting to somewhere in your house you will not know whether you've really done it or not, for as far as you are concerned you could have been sleepwalking and then just became concious there!

The most effective way to teleport is to concentrate either on a specific place or on a person. Actually thinking about a specific person works for many people. Or course you first have to know where that person is located.
Some people concentrate on that person or place during meditation and before attempting to induce a projection. Success varies from projector to projector.
Personally I can occasionally teleport to a specific place. I have done that on 2 or 3 occasions. However with one notable exception I have not been able to teleport to a particular person. You may have beter success though.

just to clear up their responses a bit derk, i'm sure greytraveller is talking about astral teleportation whereas it seems lysear is talking about physically teleporting using the astral plane as a medium.

personally, i don't think anything is impossible; it just takes skill and power to do the more "impossible" tasks. [|)]

Kakkarot is quite observant. I was talking about astral teleportation while lysear is probably refering to physical teleportation. Astral/ethereal teleportation is much easier and more common. However scientists are currently working on teleporting a laser beam. They have already had limited success. Here is a link -

Teleportation in this context might be more appropriately called "bi-location" or "Mental projection".

The physical body remains as is, but projection is of the Mental body.

I haven't experiment much with teleportation as I always seem to get sidetracked. IMO teleportation or accelerated travelling (my teleportation has not yet be spontantenous teleportation)need to be done with delicate balance. You want to get to the object/place you want to go to and not the thoughtform of or your imagination.

But I have try at least one time the whole way. I try to reach my mom through OBE. What I do is, I try to pull myself with my mind to her. I made it a point not to imagine anything about her and only try to pull myself with my mind to her. The result, my vision went black but not totally black (there is movement in the blackness) and I seem to be moving/flying very fast. I also feel like radio staticky feel (hard to express so bear with me here). It take quite some time and I make a point not to get impatient or stop halfway. I Intent for it to stop by it's own accord when arrive. After sometime I stop automatically and I get the vision of my mom. I don't see anything around her. Only blackness. I lose conciousness later. And I don't have any proof whatsoever (I'm not going to ask her aboout thjing like this, at least not yet). Maybe I need to try another target which I can ask about.

Also I've come across website (I forgot where) where Bob peterson explain how he finetune his quick travel since his book. Not much different from what I do. You can try to search for that on the net.[|)]

As far as I'm concerned physical teleportation would recquire a massive amount of skill in astral phasing. First you have to get there with your astral/mental/whatever body, then you have to phase to that area and phase back to the physical. Of course I don't know anything about phasing really, except that it lets you move through objects and it's really really hard!
