Hi Guys,

I've recently been spending some time going back to meditation. It's been a while since ive experienced the hypnagogic state and have been trying to reachieve it. However I notice that after a few minutes of keeping my mind clear from thought I hit a random 'dreamlike' stage?! I have what feels like random 'dream-like visions' hit me and upon opening my eyes I can remember pretty much none of what I experienced. Most of the time it feels like a conversation of some sort occuring but I can never quite remember whats been said when I open my eyes.

Any thoughts on what this might be? Are these 'visions' meaningful in any way? Maybe random thoughts from the subconcious?

Thanks

Xanth

Hypnogogic images / sounds.  The beginnings of Projection / Phasing.  :)
The beginning of falling asleep too really.  LoL

Lol...ahh I see, now you mention it I do usually feel tired when it occurs.

So if I want to phase / project from this state what should be I doing, or 'focusing' on even?

Do we know where the images actually come from? Or is there any meaning behind them at all?

Thanks

To consciously project from here, just work on keeping your "mind" consciously active.
To project (in a sense) spontaneously, try repeating affirmations that when you begin to experience non-physically that your awareness will "kick in".

Science doesn't know, no.
I believe they're randomly created environments/scenes.  Created by your consciousness.  They could also be glimpses into other realities.  Who knows really.  :)

Thanks Xanth  :-D

So as long as I keep my mind conciously active I should be able to project conciously?

Would I simply become 'apart of the scene' im experiencing so to speak?

Also, could you give an example of an affirmation that could be used to help your awareness "kick in" when you start to experience non-physically?

Sorry for the 101 questions lol

Thanks

You may be dreaming. According to my teacher(s) this is when to stop and get some rest before continuing. If I doze and dream the session is usually bought to a close. phasing is a narrow thread that must be tread.

Well, technically, that's exactly what it is.  A dream... or, more appropriately, a micro dream of sorts.

You're a poet!  And you didn't know it!  :D
