I think that "force" is your spirit or your energy (dont know if there is a difference).

When I get that "high pitched buzzing", I cant stop myself from trying to making it bigger/louder. I cant think of a single bad thing about it. You shouldnt be afraid. The buzzing will show you truth instead of the illusion we live in.

Hi there Dimensioner.....

We are usually scared of that which we have no control over.  I can tell you from experience, though, that the only way to get over this fear is to trust the experience and "go with it."

The next time you feel this pulling sensation, tell yourself as it's happening, "I am ok.  Nothing bad is going to happen.  Let's just see where it takes me."

I can already tell that you will probably find yourself flying every which way in this dark void, at very high speeds.  It can be very frightening at first, but if you remain relaxed and "ride it out," you will find that it will gently set you down someplace and you'll be having a full blown OBE!

The more control you get over these things, the less frightening they are.....and you'll find that they become pleasant and desirable.
Keep smiling,

This is a good question. I have had many but very much prefer skipping the RTZ. Somehow I feel intimidated there. Dont know why. I had a very scary experience with a keeper of the threshold some years back. It still lingers.
Words.....there was a time when I believed in words!

I had "sleep paralysis" episodes for years before I realized I was OBEing, and I studied the phenomena as much as I could. Science theorises that "sleep paraylsis" is caused by geomagnetic disturbances in the vicinity of the experiencier which effect brain activity and scientists have attempted to prove this by re-creating these effects in the laboratory. Dr. Michael Persinger has had some success at this. Unreasoning "fear" is a lab-observed side-effect of induced "sleep paralysis" caused by direct stimulation of the subject's brain with electromagnetism.

On the other hand, "sleep paralysis" is recognized by projectors as what happens when the etheric body seperates from the physical. You noted that your "fear" came at this moment of seperation.

So, finally, to answer your question directly: fear is a common side-effect of the seperation process and said fear may only be biological in origin; in other words, totally irrational and instead reflexively physical, perhaps caused by the very brain activity which triggers or accompanies OBEs. It's very common and, as Jeff_Mash said,  it's just something you get used to. I mean, I had "sleep paralysis" for so many years that it literally became more boring than scary, and I'd end up just laying there waiting for it to be over instead of freaking out.

As to controlling fear in general: ever read Dune by Frank Herbert? I find that the Bene Gesserit "Litany Against Fear" comes in handy.

Realize that you're one with everything else. If you can do that then being scared is just you playing silly buggers with yourself and you can just shrug it off.

I agree with everyone totally.  This is a great forum, too!
This morning, I purposely induced sleep paralysis on myself.
I got the mental impression that there must be some earthquake or
something somewhere.  I also got the impression that aliens were
causing the paralysis.  I had sleep paralysis twice this morning,
though, and I felt that I was causing it.  I also saw red lines
across my eyes, and I was having a whole bunch of cluttered
thoughts.  One night, though, when I had the buzzing sound, and JUST LIKE BEAVIS MAGNIFIED the sound, I was able to cause telekinesis!
The ceiling fan above me came down right where my face had been as
I sat up, suddenly breaking the sleep paralysis.  I had had my EYES CLOSED as the ceiling fan was coming down, though!  I even saw
a succubus one morning, too, and she said something to me, but I was blacking out and even my hearing was getting blurred out and I didn't hear what she was saying, and she kissed my neck.  Tonight, though,
I'm going to try it all again.

Hello,
I have had the EXACT feelings you have been undergoing lately. At first, when I started to feel myself being pulled away, I would fight the feeling by focusing my attention somewhere else. The high pitched buzzing sounds were so intense it was like someone was drilling into my mind. After the buzzing stopped my ears would continue to ring in a high pitched manner, as though I just came back from a loud concert. After I had those sensations for a while, I began to let it go through me. My fear, at that time, was not being in control like Jeff Mash said. I figured that if I'm going through this maybe I have to see what it is all about. Other times, when I was going through those situations, I felt I wouldn't return to my body. Well, I've let the vibrations, pulling feeling and buzzing sounds do their work. I've often found that they would end up just going away. I would feel shaking sensations go through me and then it would all end. Man....all I can think of is all those wasted O.B.E. oppurtunities. A few years later, I had the same vibrations here and there but to a lesser degree. Since I've been to this forum and being enlightened as to what the hell was really going on, I've started to change my perception and feel morre safe and secure about such sensations. After I got more secure, I actually wanted these vibes to come back. When I wanted them to come back I was know knowledgeable (to a certain extent) how to work with them. About a month ago, I had the sensations and ended up leaving a part of my body without trying. It was like a part of me was doing something on its own. I figured it was like dipping my foot into the shallow end of the pool. Now that I've tasted the water, I can feel more confident and comfortable to go over to the deep end (full body exit). Hope this helps. Keep looking back to the forum as there are a lot of heads that are in this game for the right reason. A lot of knowledge is being passed back and forth and one should not take it for granted!

Dimensioner

Hello everyone! [:D] I am new to this site, but have been reading a lot from the other posts.

I'm looking for help, and advice please, from those of you who have the experience that I dont. These strange dreams have started happenening over last few months and they are getting more frequent...

They begin with me either in my sleep or as I am falling asleep. Firstly I become conscious of some unknown force pulling at me, along with a loud high pitched buzzing sound I hear. I feel my self drifting from my body, under the pull of this force and get SO scared.... then wake up. The fear just seems too much to overcome. Has anyone else felt this and know how to deal with it??  thanks [;)]
