how do people feel about these books - especially the ones for psychic development

I tend to question the value of these books simply because the of way the sell them...like it's something out of an infomercial...That and the titles being regarded as "power secrets"

However I haven't read any...I am curious as well.

I have read OUR and it is very good. A lot of subject became more clear to me as i was a newbie at that time and pretty lost in this psychic, paranormal, non-mainstream stuff and i also like his writing style. Clear, easy to understand, entertaining. I read it in 7 days...couldn't stop.

I also very much enjoy readin OUR.  I've read it twice and will probably read it again when I finish my training on some other reading material, lol.  I will eventually order the Developing Psychic Powers, but I agree with Vvid1012.  I kind of get turned off by the whole sales pitch, but since I'm currently working on my belief system I just put that aside and instead of focusing on how the material is being presented I just focus on what I could possibly benefit from the information contained within these books.  I'm sure that I will benefit from the information regardless.  I just need to save up again after buying a lot of other books, hehe.
