Dear folks,
this is a phenomenon I've observed for atleast 1 year.
Each time when entering meditation, my solar plexus chakra would begin to rumble until i would stop meditating or simply continue and 'overwill' it, forcing it to comply eventually and it would then shut up and smooth out like the rest of my chakras.
To be precise, this feeling is one of tightness and it begs attention like an entity would.
Now I'm wondering if anyone else experiences this.

It happens in all of the chakras when there is too much energy building up in a particular one. To fix it all you need to do is produce an outflow of energy out of your energy body. I like to outflow the energy into crystals and then the energy can be saved for later.
Tiny, are you centering and grounding yourself?
You generally shouldn't ever feel a "build up" like that if you have a nice flow coming 'through' you.
After a while of meditation I'll increase the inflow of energy into my energy centers and the 'nice flow' will become a waterfall of energy. Then it's hard to keep all the energy even throughout all of the energy centers and sub naval storage center. If you don't want to have a headache / stomachache you then need to send some of the energy out of your chakras. As we progress the size of our chakras get larger and were able to hold more energy.
It's funny you say this. After you posted about Sylvan Muldoon's book I went back and leafed through it a bit and came across something interesting that has to do with the solar plexus and projection. I'll edit this post and add it after I get back from my lunch break.
Energy should be smooth flowing in this manner:
From the Universe (ground) -> root chakra -> sacrel to third eye -> crown chakra -> back into the universe.
If at any point along that path you have a blockage, then you'll notice the flow of energy reduced.
It shouldn't be hard, at all, to allow the energy to pass through you.
You never work a chakra before you get a flow through the one prior to it.
Dear folks,
thanks for the input.
Today, when someone i live with came home she brought some real low vibratory energies with her.
As she and I were in the same room, her low vibratory energy filled it and I tried resisting the energy and as I did so, felt an intense tightness at about my spleen (second) chakra.
Everytime, however when I surrender to such a low energy and allow it to resonate with me, the tightness vanishes.
So the current idea I have is that bad, low vibratory energies enter the aura through the lower chakras and when this is resisted, these energies will exert pressure on the relative chakra, like water on a diving submarine.

Hey Tiny,
(I'm not completely sure if this applies, but I'll throw it out). I used to get very overwhelmed when around large groups or crowds, almost like the energy was too much to take in at once. I found through meditation I got better and better at deciding where to focus my attention. By keeping my awareness at a more concentrated level, I have much more personal choice as to what kind of influences I choose to receive and which not. This makes it much more easy to "flow" through today's society without other people bringing me down, and I don't have to focus on any particular chakras or anything, just where I choose to focus my awareness. It's easier (after practice) than trying to fight what has already grabbed your awareness.
On the negative side of this type of thing, I sometimes offend "low energy" people when not giving them any of my energy or attention. This could make relations with a roommate tough.
